Headcanons

  • Myron was one of Bill Weasley's closest friends in Hogwarts. He and Myron were the same age, but Bill's birthday was after the yearly registration cutoff so he didn't start Hogwarts until Myron was in his second year, already. Arguably one of the largest influences on Bill's style and personality as he grew older. Even as Myron got big with his band (The Weird Sisters), Bill remained friends with him.
  • The (Sexy) Weird Sisters:

    Myron: Sexy Homeless Person
    Donaghan: Sexy Beanpole
    Kirley: Sexy Teddy Bear
    Heath: Sexy Pincushion
    Orsino: Sexy Firecracker
    Gideon: Sexy Fingers
    Merton: Sexy Viking
    Herman: Sexy Bard

  • Myron: *Opens mouth to speak*
    Nobody:
    Absolutely no one:
    Not a single person:
Donaghan: We need to find you a girlfriend, Myron!
  • Myron looks "normal" when he has a headache. The dull, consistent pain seems to worsen if he tries to shift anything so he just lets it be until it goes away.
  • Not sure exactly when Charity Burbage was born but it was probably in the early 70s so she likely had a few years with some of the founding Weird Sisters. Being that Donaghan is a Muggleborn, he and Charity were likely close friends if not in the same year, and he was CRUSHED when she went missing.
  • Donaghan is the second-best singer in The Weird Sisters so in the event Myron is ever sick and can't sing, Donny takes over for him. #TheShowMustGoOn
  • Myron's father spent all seven years at Hogwarts with Bertie Bott.
  • The 1998 Defense Against the Dark Arts professor isn't identified by name on the HP Wikia so... I'm thinking perhaps Myron's father took up the post, now that it wasn't cursed. After Myron started at Hogwarts, his mother took up a job at St. Mungo's as a Healer and worked there for quite some time before the Second Wizarding War began.

Because of Myron's involvement with Donaghan, Kieran and Lesley also went into hiding. I reckon Myron would have done research into the Fidelius Charm before the war even began. He could have had Donaghan and Siobhán tucked away somewhere and made himself and Kirley the Secret-Keepers.

  • When Donaghan was a fifth year, he started a rumor that Myron was a vampire. Myron was, admittedly, a little amused by this and let it run for bit. But after a while, he got kind of tired of people clearing the hall whenever he turned the corner. To dispel this rumor, he gathered a small group of students he KNEW were somewhat invested, and proceeded to shove a whole garlic clove into his mouth and eat it. Donaghan really wasn't expecting him to do that. #NoFvcksGiven
  • Myron's friendship with Donaghan REALLY took off once they discovered their shared love for Muggle rock music.
  • Myron dated Gwenog Jones from the Holyhead Harpies for a while. She may or may not have stolen some of his clothing during this time.
  • Myron's bandmate Heath has a plimpy named Chicken Legs and a murtlap named Cyndi Lauper. Myron helped him come up with the names.
  • Orsino (the percussionist) twirls his drumsticks when he's bored. He's very ADHD, and always needs something to do with his hands.
  • Myron's patronus, if corporeal, takes the form of a dragonfly. From Mugglenet.com, "The dragonfly is steeped in illusionary magic. The abilities to create a strong, almost "hypnotic" outer shell for the world, see beneath your own illusion and those of others, and gain strong mental clarity are common traits of the dragonfly. It is also a messenger, carrying with it messages from the past, far distances, and the spiritual realm. Dragonflies are representative of what it means to be light, reflective, and full of joy - in all senses of the words. Dragonfly medicine tends to be very emotional and passionate, often accompanying a great revelation or discovery of self."
  • When Myron isn't busy touring, he makes his money breeding and training baby owls. He uses the outside terrace of his flat to keep them. Because his home is in close proximity to Charing Cross Road, it's easy to transport the owls to Eeylop's Owl Emporium. He absolutely adores his owlets, and it's not uncommon for him to walk around his flat with an owlet or two perched on his shoulder.
  • After Myron became of age and the Trace was removed, he and his father started regularly dueling each other. It helped Myron develop quicker reflexes as a duelist, and helped Kieran keep his game up. Myron's taken on a few nasty Stuns, but he's also delivered a few top-notch jinxes and hexes of his own.
