Brief History The training camp had gone just as expected. A new school had joined their ranks: Karasuno, and they'd made quite the impression. Bokuto seemed to take a liking to the red-head, Shoyo Hinata and his teammate with the glasses, Kei Tsukishima. But as with all training camps, it was more a chance to revisit their strategy; get a better grasp of Bokuto's weaknesses and how to tackle them for the upcoming tournament. They'd go to Nationals, only if their ace could keep his cool. Thankfully, Fukurodani was well equipped to handle any challenge that came their way. However, was it truly wise to teach the Karasuno first years some of their special moves? Bokuto didn't seem to have a problem with it. Though, if he had to see that Pain-in-the-ass Kuroo-san one more time he might have to break something. It's not that he didn't like Nekoma's captain, but the guy got Bokuto into so much trouble. Kenma wasn't too bad, though.
During the barbecue, Akaashi's phone went off and he made a brisk exit around the back of the gym, noting his sudden email from a place called "Winterdale". Once Boktuo was alone he asked him about it, saying if he was willing to come with should Akaashi decide to accept. He had chosen Fukurodani because of Bokuto, and he wasn't going to give up on him just yet. Magic and a fresh start was heavily appealing. He couldn't imagine it without Bokuto at his side. They'd probably have amazing volleyball players there too. The type to get Bokuto all fired up again.
Akaashi packed his things and headed to the pickup spot. When he didn't see Bokuto, he assumed that'd be left already and taken an earlier flight. So he boarded. Unbeknownst to him, an entirely different, younger Bokuto was already in Winterdale.
The irony of it all. When they said "fresh start", they weren't kidding now were they?
