A New World
Welcome to Genosha Island! Bolivar Trask succeeded in creating his sentinels and started what he thought would be a war to end all wars. In the end, even humans began to realize that Trask was blinded by hatred and the Sentinel project was shut down as a condition of the treaty signed at the Peace Accords. The additional stipulation in the treaty was that all powered individuals and their allies would be relocated to an Enlarged Genosha Island. There they formed their own Government and now the island is one of the biggest political forces in the world.
