[Death Eaters]
Am I displaying a standard of exemplary behaviour? Undoubtedly not, but that's the knife I walk every day. It's easy for you lot to stay in your manor-houses talking about filth when I'm the one licking the scum off of their sinks. You don't know the half of it, how even the good ones are perverted by Muggle culture to the point where you're in the middle of it and it's impossible to remember if the song you're humming was written by a Ravenclaw alum or a Muggle junkie. It gets into your head, makes it seem worthy. And by then it's too late.
Which is why we show no mercy in the Dark Lord's name. This isn't a matter of Muggle records, or of family members. It's taking back what's ours. It's divorcing us from the corrupt. Only in the glint of green light will we be free of Muggle moral decay.
I hold no illusions about the fact that if I'm held to the light, they'll hate me for my lies so much they'll miss the point of the charade. Everyone would rather not know about the strings of the marionette. Everyone likes the show.
