The heaviest hitters of the DMLE are the high-ranking Aurors and hitwizards. The Bones name carries more weight than most, and they're influential enough to be a problem. Blood traitors in lace. Gumboil molds the minds of young hitwizards, which is appalling. He's little better than street refuse. Podmore carries on like he's nothing but a buffoon but there's calculation there. When Moody speaks, people stop shuffling their paperwork. They listen. And for as much as Robards plays the dazed gentleman card, he's made of steel.
