I have half a notion to use cruciatus on Bellatrix Lestrange until some modicum of sense is smashed through her brain. Her dismissal of my correction cannot be allowed to stand. She is not Inner Circle, however ambitiously she may seek such a position, and so long as she is not within His circle, she will take directions from me.

And the fact that they retrieved the Dark Lord's shield does not make up for the destruction they left in their wake.

If we win the war, but have destroyed our history and culture in the process then we have not won. What else are we fighting for if not for the continued promotion of Wizarding history, art, culture, and knowledge? This is why we are fighting against the mudbloods and the halfbreeds who would tear it down with no comprehension of what they destroy.

Not unlike Bellatrix.

I will send a donation to the library tomorrow. There is much that cannot be replaced, but it will assist at least with that which can be.



And on a completely different note, but a much more pleasant one, Miss Alderton proves to be as delightful to listen to while conversing as she is to listen to while singing. It has been a long time Time will tell, but it is certainly worth a follow-up. Perhaps wine at the Woodlands as we will not be returning there until the end of October.

But business first.

I cannot put my feelings on the tragedy at the library any better than Miss Sullivan has already done. If you think nothing of value has been lost I suggest you need to rethink your values.
