It is an interesting question. I spoke to Barty regarding how it was being received and there seemed to be little enthusiasm for the whole idea which will greatly damage their chances of success. The more failure they confront in training, the more they will continue to fail. Nothing breeds failure like failure.

However, that being said, the senior Aurors are still the most likely to be able to manage the Killing Curse under duress or in fear for their own lives. It is not their first instinct to use such spells but now that they can do so, it will be in their minds and we must be aware of that.

I do agree that a little reinforcement of the fact that they can now die as easily as anyone else in battle would be salutary.
