Tweak says, "nerf herder!"
So, when Alexa finally escaped her suffocating upbringing to go to College, it was there that she decided to reinvent herself. Not telling anyone of her wealth and background, for the first time in her life she felt as though people liked her for who she was, and not who her family were. It was also at College that she met a rather passionate young man by the name of Richard. Unlike people in her life, Richard seemed to reject things for time spent with people, he fought passionately for those underprivileged and was outspoken about the wrongs of the world. Young and naïve, Alexa fell under his spell and soon found herself hanging off his every word.
Fast forward to the end of College, Alex and Richard were married in a small and intimate ceremony held at a local restaurant they favoured. For years, the pair of them lived happily in a three-bed house on the edge of town, her working as a teacher and he working as a professional lobbyist. Unfortunately for them as the years grew on, resentments grew to levels where they could no longer stand to be in a room with one another. He thought that she was not using her privilege enough for the good of the community, despite being a High School Teacher, and she felt annoyed by his constant judgement.
As soon as the ink dried on the divorce papers, Alexa sold the house and moved into an apartment at Pineview, where she has been ever since. Taking one day at a time, she is trying to slowly find herself having spent the largest part of her life in a relationship with a well-meaning but dominating man.
