Standing only 5’4 Gwen considers herself a little on the short side. She’s never liked to feel at a disadvantage, however, and for this reason usually wears at least two inch heels, making her a little closer to average height. She has a small, oval face, light blue eyes and delicate features with long golden tresses that frame her face. She usually curls her hair, liking the feel of the bouncing curls as she moves. Having inherited her mother's bone structure as well as looks, Gwendolyn has therefore a lean and slender frame helping to carry of a regal appearance. Like her siblings, Gwendolyn as the small, pert Wilkes nose, upturned a little at the tip. With the exception of this feature Gwendolyn looks almost identical to her mother. Her sister Isabelle, also resembles Gwendolyn a lot, and people have at time thought the girls twins. Gwen doesn't really like being compared to her sister, who doesn't hold much stock in fashion and never bothers with make-up.Personality:
Gwendolyn is incredibly concerned with her weight, and the way she looks, and for this reason weighs around 100lbs. Although fairly thin looking, keeping her weight has been quite of a struggle for Gwen. Not a very athletic girl, as pureblooded ladies should never really be running and jumping about, Gwendolyn has to be careful of what she eats in order to keep her appearance. It is a general struggle, but one which countless women have managed throughout time.
Despite the family's lack of funds, Gwendolyn was raised and behaved as a proper pureblooded lady. As such, Gwen walks tall, with an air of confidence about her that reflects in her movements and tone. It certainly helps that Gwen knows she's attractive and it shows. A lover of clothing and all things fashionable, Gwendolyn has a keen sense for fashion and impeccable style. With an eye for a just the right colour combinations and excellent taste, Gwendolyn generally looks quite fashionable. having such expensive tastes has never really been easy for a girl with little means, but over the years she's managed to acquire just enough of the finer, more elegant pieces which when paired with her general wardrobe, create the perfect ensemble.
History:
Gwendolyn is often seen by other people as a little too open, too flirty. Gwendolyn just thinks that people are quite jealous of the freedom she finds in her situation and the lack of restrictions she has upon her life. Never one to be crude in public, Gwendolyn is considerably more subtle, and will often flirt with boys of most houses, the light tones almost appearing second nature to her. Whilst Gwen is attracted to women, she will not openly flirt with them, as she fears the stigma this could bring. Instead, she would rather speak and flirt with the boys of Slytherin, which often gets her glares from the other girls. For this reason, Gwendolyn has always thought that women can just be a little jealous of the fact that she can interact with men far more than other people. She can't help it though, Gwendolyn adores the surge of power she gets from play with the boys, even if it is not sexual in nature.
Although Gwendolyn did not have a particularly difficult childhood, her upbringing was considerably different from most pureblooded children. Not coming from a wealthy background, Gwendolyn saw easily how hard it was for her mother to care for her and her siblings. Rom when she was very young, her mother was working countless hours in order to provide what her children needed; to give them independence. It is because of this that Gwen has a strong desire to succeed, make something of herself and only rely upon herself to get further in life. Whilst she admires her parents marriage and hopes to one day have a happy one herself; she craves to make a mark on her own. Gwendolyn is very independent. She doesn't like to rely on anyone for anything as she feels that she is more than capable to handle things on her own. As such, she thinks everything's a gender struggle and fails to understand what's it like to have normal relationships and friendships
As a fairly selfish person, Gwendolyn's behaviour often mimics her baser needs and desires, as she tends not to think things through before acting. Having had few people in her life who truly spent time with her or cared for her, Gwendolyn has grown up with the idea that the only manner in which she can get what she needs from life is to get it for herself. She has no desire to rely on others for what she needs or wants and as such often places her own needs in front of other's. She doesn't really mean to hurt her friends, but she scarcely feels sorry for anything that she does, mostly because she's sure that she, like everyone else in the world, is really only looking out for themselves. After all, who would care more about you thank yourself?
For this very reason, more than anything else, Gwendolyn desires to be wanted. Not sexually, for she gets that often - even if most of the time it is due to her own machinations. No she'd truly desires to someone who understands her better than herself. She wishes there was some guy, or girl, who truly wanted her like her father wanted her mother. A pessimist at heart, Gwendolyn has all but convinced herself that this will never happen. That is the sort of story of faerie tales, and even her parents' marriage ended in complete and utter disaster. So Gwen feels that she will be alone for the rest of her life.
LIKES: magic, boys, gossip, fashion, girls, shoes, flirting, green, Daraco, sugar quills, her friends, martinis, vodka, glamour spells, purple, jewellery
DISLIKES: work, studying, stupid people, mudbloods, muggles, know-it-alls, fat people, people without style, dirt, butter, cigarettes, beer, brown, creepy-crawlies
STRENGTHS: Gwen loves flirting, shopping and clothes and excels at all three. Whether it’s knowledge about the latest fashion line, the best designs or just sending hours going out, Gwen’s brilliant at it. She’s also quite a bit of a flirt, likes to have a god time with her mates. It’s in her desire to drive forward that brings out Gwendolyn’s more Slytherin traits, as she is more than happy to do whatever it may take to get what she feels she deserves in life. Not wanting to rely on men to get ahead, Gwen’s certain she will get the money and power she desires through her own means. Gwen’s best subject as school was Charms, as she likes to learn new spells and things she could do with magic. Gwen also took a fascination to Divinations and Astronomy at Hogwarts. The thought of knowing the unknown or the great expanse of the galaxy fascinates her, and as such she does quite well in her courses.
WEAKNESSES: As a fairly selfish person, Gwendolyn's behaviour often mimics her baser needs and desires, as she tends not to think things through before acting. She has no desire to rely on others for what she needs or wants and as such often places her own needs in front of other's. She doesn't really mean to hurt her friends, but she scarcely feels sorry for anything that she does, mostly because she's sure that she, like everyone else in the world, is really only looking out for themselves. Despite the selfishness and vanity that Gwendolyn shows in her general behaviour, she is actually a fairly insecure person. Certain that she’s not as perfect as she should be, Gwen can be quite paranoid. Gwen’s fairly rubbish at anything that requires lost of memorization or physical labour. She doesn’t really like getting her hands dirty, or really having to sit there and read things over and over. As such, she’s never really done well in her History of Magic course nor in Herbology and Care of Magical creatures. She could be decent in Transfigurations, if she bothered, which she doesn’t often.

Gwendolyn Moira Wilkes came into the world on the 23rd of October, 1980 in what had to be a purebloods' paradise as the Dark Lord ruled the wizarding world. The second child and first daughter to a loving couple; Gwendolyn was a welcome addition to the Wilkes household. Even five-year-old William, who was at first disappointed to no longer be an only child, accepted the wriggling little bundle. Helena Selwyn and Warren Wilkes lived in a large Manor in Renfrewshire since their marriage in 1974, and the little girl was welcomed into a fairly stable, happy home. The head of old, pureblooded family, Warren Wilkes had become a Death Eater more than a century before and involved in the ride of the ark Lord, hoping to bring about a Golden Age for all wizarding kind. The Wilkes children would inherit this legacy as Warren and Helena intended to bring them up like other pureblooded children.
Unfortunately for Gwendolyn, these plans were dashed soon after her birth as catastrophe struck the family. On 15 March, 1981, just a few months prior to the shocking news of Voldemort’s disappearance, the Ministry raided a hideout for Voldemort supporters. A battle broke out and Warren Wilkes was caught by a particularly nasty spell, dying shortly thereafter. Helena was 4 months pregnant. The shock of Warren’s death nearly caused Helena to lose her child, however after much medical attention; she was able to carry her third child to term.
The end of the war and Warren Wilkes's death would forever change the fortunes of the Wilkes family. With five-year-old William and five-month-old Gwendolyn to take care of in addition to her pregnancy, Helena was startled by the change in circumstance. It hardly helped that shortly after her husband’s death, debt collectors descended upon the Wilkes home, nearly bankrupting the young family. What little money Helena retained due to jewellery and hidden coins would now have to pay for a new home. As the family had lost so much, society refused to allow Helena back into its folds. Warren parents’ had both died years before, Helena’s parents and siblings unable to help, the young widow was left with few resources but to start over. With what little help her parents could provide, Helena was able to move her young family down to south in hopes of attaining a better future.
The decision was made to move the family down to London in order to be close to Diagon Alley and therefore the wizarding community so as to avoid having to raise the children in a muggle background. Helena had no choice but to enrol her precious son, who until then had been privately tutored, in a local wizarding primary school though she would continue to educate her son at home to the very best of her ability. William, like Gwendolyn a few years later, was to be educated as a pureblooded child and indoctrinated with the purist views for his parents. Just months after the move, in the summer of 1981, Helena gave birth to a second baby girl; her last connection to her husband.
Helena, like most rich pureblooded women, was not skilled or trained to work as her general purpose in life had been to serve her husband and provide him with a healthy heir. With three young children to care for, two of which were under two years of age, and little money available to her, Helena had very few choices to ensure that the family survived. She started first as a waitress, working very long hours and leaving her children with a very caring neighbour. This job didn't last more than a few weeks as Helena found it impossible to continue the level of work for the terrible work. The next five jobs over the following three months were each worse than the previous as Helena was making little headway in order to provide for her family. The trend would continue as Helena did her best to improve their family fortunes, managing at time to work up to 16 hours a day. Life was hardly easy for Helena, though she did her best to not allow this to reflect on her children's upbringing, even if it meant not being there for them as they grew up. It was lucky, really, that she'd managed to have kind neighbours willing to help, for a minimal fee. What little time Helena did have with her children, she made certain to care for them to the best of her ability, help them with school work when needed. Living in a wizarding community helped to ensure that those taking care f her would hardly be surprised by the occasional bursts of magic as Gwendolyn grew up and also limited the exposure Gwendolyn had to muggles.
By the time Gwendolyn started school, at the age of four, Helena had managed to get a better handle on the situation. Her hard work had paid off well as she managed to attain a position in a better restaurant in Diagon Alley. The position was really a stroke of luck, as a friend had alerted her to the position, but it marked a turning point in fortune. The new job meant a rise in pay, which made life that little bit easier for the family. For Gwendolyn, this meant having new jumpers on occasion, and eventually a room with just her sister. She didn't mind sharing with her sister, Gwen loved having Izzie around, and had even been upset at the thought of no longer sharing with William. However, at nearly ten years of age, William was desperate for his own space. William was generally an attentive older brother, ever careful with his sister, watching over them when needed and generally being there to comfort them when their mother was busy at work, or needing her few hours of sleep. As such, when William finally went to Hogwarts, Gwendolyn was absolutely devastated. At nearly seven years of age, Gwen understood well why her brother was leaving her, but she certainly did not like it!
Still doing her best for her children, Helena still worked hard, making herself indispensable at the restaurant, and within by the time Gwen turned eight, had managed to become manager of the restaurant. Helena's success meant further changes for Gwendolyn and her sister as they moved yet again. In truth, Gwendolyn liked the moves; she liked changes and unlike her sister loved what a move would mean for them. Having always been good at making friends, Gwendolyn quite easily adjusted to her new surroundings, and was adept at finding the other little boys and girls in their building. Although Izzie and William were to remain Gwen's closest friends, she had little issue finding people to keep herself amused, and was often at neighbours homes on playdates.
In 1989, when Gwendolyn was just 9, Helena started dating again. It was a confusing and emotional time for Gwen who didn't like the idea of having someone else taking up her mother's time. She slowly grew accustomed to the idea, though she was prone to throwing tantrums when her mother would go out for the evening, leaving them with her older brother. Although Gwen saw less of her mother, she seemed to change almost overnight, being considerably happier than Gwen could ever remember. These happy times were marred with further trouble as Helena soon found she was pregnant. Alastair was, surprisingly, over the moon at the announcement and insisted that Helena marry him immediately. Although uncertain at first, the couple soon married.
They wed in a lavish ceremony on 2 July, 1991 with Damien born the following November. Gwendolyn had been incredibly excited at the prospect of getting dolled up for a wedding, and even more excited about spending the following month with her cousins. The excitement soon wore off when Gwendolyn realised that there was someone else ordering her around now. Although barely ten, Gwendolyn could still manage to be a brat with very little effort. It helped that Alastair’s way of winning the girls over was giving them loads of gifts. He succeeded eventually, and before long Alastair had adopted the children and Gwendolyn came to truly trust him. Unsurprisingly, Gwen loved the gifts, the new clothing and the new life her step-father would bring.
When Gwen’s brother was born in the winter of 1991, she and Isabelle were quite excited at the new arrival. Having just turned eleven, Gwen just felt excitement at the prospect of having a little boy to play with and treat like her own living, breathing dolly. As much as she liked her sister, they closeness in age often caused friction between the girls, and Damien's birth opened new opportunities. It helped that their older brother was gone most of the year, having started at Hogwarts four years before and so having a little boy around the house was to be a novelty. Gwendolyn didn't get to spend much time in the new baby's presence, however, as by the end of the following summer Gwen was to head off to Hogwarts for her first year.
Gwendolyn’s first year at Hogwarts signalled the beginning of a new stage in her life one which she had been very excited to start. With her sister joining her on the train, Gwen was beyond excited to be joining the likes of famous witches and wizards. William, by now a sixth year Slytherin, was to be there and Gwendolyn was very excited to spend more time with her older brother and learn magic so she could be just like her mother. Gwendolyn’s strive to do anything necessary to attain all the best things in life, and her disdain for non-pureblooded wizards (both learned from her mother) had easily landed her in Slytherin. Beaming at her older brother, who sat with his mates, Gwendolyn joined her new house, chattering excitedly among the new firsties. A very chatty, pleasant, oft-times hyper little girl, Gwen got along quite well with most of the girls in her year and that above her.A very chatty, pleasant, oft-times hyper little girl, Gwen got along quite well with most of the girls in her year and that above her.
The relief and happiness lasted mere seconds as her sister, who was sorted mere seconds after her, was placed in Hufflepuff, the first Hufflepuff in the Wilkes line. It was a devastating blow to Gwen who had hoped to share a room with her sister, and a terrible disappointment for the family. Gwen didn't let this stop her, however, as she intended to include her little sister in everything she did. Although Gwen did her very best to introduce her sister to her friends, she didn't seem to take to them as easily as Gwendolyn had. It was disappointing, though Gwen would still do her best to see her sister who seemed a bit more taken with school-work than the people around her.
Gwendolyn knew very well how important it was to make connections and friends, so within the first few days at Hogwarts, Gwendolyn did her best to not only learn her classes but also get on with the other little boys and girls in her house. It would be one other little boy in er year, Jacob Dorny, that would make a lasting impression upon Gwen. The two clicked almost immediately and have been the best of friends ever since. As any good little pureblooded girl, she knew that she was in the best house and which families and house to avoid. It was easy to see who the right people to interact with were and Gwen quickly attached herself to the older Pansy Parkinson. Pansy completely fascinated young Gwen who saw her as a girl in charge, someone who already had people her age and a few older fearing her. It would be as one of the members of this little gang that Gwen would make her closest friends. Though, like most Slytherins, Gwen could hardly completely trust the girls.
As one of Pansy's little group of girls, Gwen learned quickly whom she was to like, and whom to dislike. Like other Slytherins Gwen soon found herself cheering for the heir of Slytherin in the vain hope that the school would be purged of all muggleborns. It was of course her mother's influence and her upbringing that formed Gwen's belief system and to see it backed up by a majority of her new house only served to solidify in her mind that this was the right choice. The end of the year, and Harry Potter's triumph was clearly disappointing though Gwen was a bit more preoccupied with her new friends to dwell on the matter for very long. The escape of one of the Dark Lord's greatest supporters that summer was to be a common topic at the breakfast table as Alastair and her mum discussed the implications of the escape. A business man, Aastair had no intention on endangering their family in politics. That's not to say he didn't share his wife's views, indeed he was fully support the Death Eaters later on, he just knew how precarious the situation could be for his family and made certain their children were made aware of how vital it was to keep allegiances a secret.
The escape of Sirius Black was all over the news that summer, as was the prospect of him hunting down Harry Potter. Although Gwen had no particular dislike for the boy who lived, her adoration of Draco and Pansy had her hoping that this would in some manner negatively affect him. The first two years at Hogwarts were fairly easy ones for Gwen as she attended her classes, put in minimal effort and spent a majority of her time concentrating on friendships. Her interest in her classes spiked a little, though Gwen still very much preferred talking and gossiping with her friends than doing her homework.
Third year, unlike second, was to bring more positive excitement to the castle in the form of the Triwizarding tournament. The competition not only brought out the competitive side of the school, but only several new visitors to the school. The loveliest of all was one Fleur Delacour, a pretty blonde from Beauxbatons. It wasn't only the boys' heads that Fleur would turn as Gwen found herself unusually intrigued by the pretty girl. Thinking nothing of it, Gwendolyn concentrated more on the upcoming events and the exciting prospect of a Yule Ball that coming December. Even though she was only a third year, and therefore not directly invited, Gwen found herself attending with a very attractive Durmstrang student. This year also brought about new courses. The prospect was not exciting to Gwen who really only enjoyed her Astronomy, Charms and Potions classes but the newly added Divinations course would take her by surprise. Whilst she would often do well in these classes, most of the rest of her courses suffered. It was not that she wasn't bright, although she's hardly a genius, Gwen just couldn't be bothered to study for things that did not interest her.
Having developed considerably over summer, Gwen would start to garner more attention from boys this year. Whilst she had been a pretty girl from a young age, things changed this year and it was not just Jake who seemed to be paying attention to her. In fact, Gwen was surprised that an older boy had taken more than an interest in her. Not used to that sort of attention, Gwen found herself trying to do everything that she could in order to keep him happy. Over the weeks that they were together, Gwen found herself following him often, and submitting to his every whim. Certain that she was completely in love with him, Gwen was shocked when inly a few months in he ended their relationship, completely devastating Gwen.
Whilst third year had ended in a startling revelation, as Harry Potter emerged from the final task with the body of Cedric Diggory, Gwen barely paid any notice to the matter. Instead, she spent a great portion of that summer talking to her friends, speculating on Harry Potter's sanity and wondering what bloke to fancy next. The beginning of her fourth year brought back the idea that Harry Potter claimed the return of the Dark Lord, whilst the Ministry categorically denied the notion and brought a new Professor to the school: Dolores Umbridge. Although Gwen didn't overly enjoy Professor Umbridge's approach to education (there was already too much bookwork in her classes) she found herself rather liking the woman as a whole. It was in this same year and thanks to this new addition to the faculty, that the Inquisitorial Squad started, and Gwendolyn joined immediately. She rather enjoyed the new tasks, and the even greater power that being with the IS provided. Although not as cruel as some, Gwen spent plenty of time hexing the younger years and making fun of the other houses along with the older students.
With her heart slowly mending, Gwen thought the best thing to do would be to control her emotions. It had hurt when Adrian had dumped her, and more so when he continued to ignore her that year. Giving boys her attention and batting her eyes at them generally resulted in trinkets and presents; the more blokes she attracted, the quicker she learned that she loved the power she could wield. That's not to say that Gwendolyn was easy, far from it, she was actually fairly difficult to pin down as the longer the chase was the more interested the boys would become, but she certainly enjoyed her end of the chase. It helped, of course, that she was quite attractive. Although Gwen rather enjoyed the eventual kisses and later sex, she knew that the best way to remain in control was to withhold favours until she saw fit.
It was throughout her fourth year that Gwendolyn also began to take closer notice to her close friends. Those legs from girls that until then had just been friends and sources of gossip suddenly became much more appealing than she'd ever though, and her dreams took a very different turn. This somehow culminated into a crush on an older, pretty blonde Hufflepuff. Feeling as she did about Hufflepuffs, Gwendolyn did her best to ignore the feelings, although she soon had to come to terms with her budding sexuality. Although the changes were foreign to her, as with everything in life, it was in Jake whom she confided, not willing to trust anyone else with the truth. To her relief Jake seemed to be experiencing similar emotions and she relied greatly on his friendship over the coming months.
That summer, just before her fifth year, Gwendolyn spent a few weeks in London visiting William as she'd started to do since he moved two years before. There, she would frequent bars with her brother and his friends, or by herself enjoying nights out. This summer, however, she found herself growing bolder as she flirted with women as well as men. One girl in particular caught Gwen's attention, and having had too much to drink, Gwendolyn ended up back in her flat only to emerge the following morning with a massive hangover and amazing memories.
The start of her fifth year, however, brought massive changes to Gwen’s life. Not only had she quite recently come to the realization that she may not be as straight as previously thought, but shortly before starting the year she'd received a prefect badge in the mail. Although Gwen's mother was incredibly proud, both Gwen and her sister were floored at the implications. It was not something that they had expected, but Gwendolyn still found herself a pleased to know she'd been selected for the honour. Now she could join greats like Pansy and Draco, surely this was an important step in the right direction? In addition to her prefects badge, fifth year meant upcoming OWL exams. Although Gwendolyn didn’t particularly have any goals in mind, her father’s counselling and his success in business did make her realise over the years that maybe it would be worth it. It wasn’t a complete transformation, Gwen still enjoyed her gossip and sitting around chatting with the girls, but there were noticeable changes, and Gwen did start to develop a sense of responsibility, finding herself considerably more discreet, and dare one say the more refined person she was taught to be.
Sixth year was a difficult year for Gwendolyn. Mates were all choosing sides, and everyone expected her to follow along. It wasn't so much that Gwen preferred the muggleborns, she just hated the thought of losing any one of her friends. As a Slytherin, Gwen had a very easy sixth year. Even as her classmates were tortured around her, Gwen found that the Slytherin house had a much easier time of it, and she even found some of her new classes quite enjoyable, Muggle Studies finally proving what she knew had been the case for years. With only a few complicated subjects, Gwen had plenty of time to spend time with her friends and focus on them.
Finally, Gwendolyn embarked on her seventh and final year at Hogwarts. It was a fantastic year for Gwendolyn as she and the other Slytherins became the 'ruling' students at Hogwarts. For once, Gwen was not the follower, but the Queen of the school, and the years spent following Pansy had certainly paid off. Not only was she prefect, but she was also one of the most popular girls at the school, the fact that few outside of her house seemed to like her was completely disregarded. Gwendolyn never really had any particular ambitions regarding her future career. She knew she would have to marry and marry well for the sake of the family, and that likely her future husband would not want her working. This made it difficult for Gwen to actually desire a career choice of any sort. Unfortunately for Gwen she did not take into account the fact that their family didn't actually have the amount of money most of her friends at school. With no match planned, no idea what she wanted to do and little money, Gwen found herself applying to the Wizarding Academy for Dramatic Arts a few months before the end of the year. Having been involved in some of the productions at Hogwarts over the last few years, Gwendolyn had always had an interest in the stage, though it hadn't been until one of her friends had suggested that she apply at WADA that she started to strongly consider the idea. At the very least she figured it would please her parents that she was being serious about something.
Gwen had actually managed quite well in her NEWTs, having received several Os, a fact which she proudly presented to her parents. Granted, Izzie had faired much better, but Gwen was still quite pleased with her results, even if she'd only needed one O to get into WADA. That summer Gwendolyn spent most of her time out of the house, spending it with friends, enjoying her new-found freedom. Despite the craft that she was to return to school in fall, it seven years of Hogwarts were done and that was a matter to be celebrated. When the time came, Gwen found herself excited to start her new schooling. With WADA being a day school, Gwendolyn was to attend classes during the day whilst still living at home. It was a big change for Gwen who hadn't been used to living at home year-round but Gwendolyn adjusted to her new institution quite well. The acting programme, which was to last nine months, was exciting and enjoyable, and for the first time Gwendolyn was throwing herself completely into her coursework. The year passed quickly and finally in May, 2000, Gwendolyn completed her course successfully.
So in the summer of 2000, following her graduation from WADA, Gwendolyn moved to a small flat in London. Whilst in London, Gwen followed her newly found desire to join the stage going to small auditions in the hope of becoming a star! With shows to attend, people to meet, Gwen made friends quite quickly, often staying out late partying until dawn and ending up at some random stranger’s home. Every bit the bubbly sort of girl she was at school, Gwen quickly acclimated to her new lifestyle. The reality was less appealing than the fantasy, as Gwen quickly burned through the money her parents had provided her. The flat is tiny, the pay meagre and Gwendolyn struggled to make the money last.
Even so, Gwendolyn did her best not to let the matter get her down. Not wanting her friends to know, Gwen still went out regularly enjoying her new life in London. It was in that manner that Gwendolyn suddenly found herself in touch with he ex again. Apprehensive, nervous and less than pleased to see him, Gwendolyn nevertheless convinced herself that she was over him, had forgiven him and that they could be friends. It wasn't long though before she was back in his bed, not entirely sure where it would lead.
Despite the fact that Gwendolyn auditioned and landed the occasional role, the money coming in was not as good as one might expect. The theatre world in Diagon Alley was relatively small and with it the pay. By 2002 Gwendolyn was struggling properly and in the end decided the best option for her would be to get a second job. Joining the Ministry as a receptionist, Gwendolyn could use the flexible hours afforded by the role to attend auditions, rehearsals whilst still ensure a steadier income. Within the next two years her fortunes started to turn. Slowly at first the work increased, the roles became larger. Finally, Gwen landed that coveted role, Anne Boleyn in A Love Lost and by the end of the run she was finally a star!
Hoping to capitalise on her success, Gwendolyn took all opportunities available and was soon found in several advertisement roles. With more money coming in, Gwendolyn was finally able to move out of the place she'd been living, and although she opted to keep her job for the first year, she finally decided to leave the Ministry in 2006 after nearly four years. Since then, Gwendolyn has continued to appear on stage and in publications across the wizarding world. Most recently she's been working on her own PR company hoping to use what she's learned in the business to her advantage.
