Happy St. George's Day!

Time to celebrate Engl my adoptedour national day, yes? What better way to do that than boring drinks in the common room? Pumpkin juice, unfortunately of course. Just a shame it had to be on a Monday.

It's not a muggle holiday, plus I'm all for holidays that involve drinking, and this one's at least English!

Is it not tied to the religion they cling so tightly to? Mother never has pushed interest in any of those days other than Christmas which they stole from the Winter Solstice.

Salazar if I know. Don't really follow any religion myself, but my step-dad says wizards in Britain have been Christian since before Roman times. Don't really care, if it gives me more reason to celebrate.

Mother says religion is a waste of time and energy. Muggles need it only because they cannot manipulate things to work more in their favor.
