Hogsmeade weekend can't come soon enough! It's bad enough that we can't have a May Day celebration, but then the next weekend off is ages away!

Honestly though, I do wish someone told the weather it's May; it's been so rainy the last few weeks that a few hours of sunshine is so not making up for it! Still, might go out and enjoy it whilst it lasts.

[Tracey]
Busy, darling? Please tell me you lot have a free weekend? I'm so tired of having to find ways to entertain myself. Maybe we could

Edited to add
[Slytherins minus Pansy]
I know it's been mentioned a few times, and I've got my hands on some decorations and things we could use to throw her a party, just wanted to see if anyone else had any specific ides? location? I'd say a surprise party, but she's surely expecting one!

[Slytherins minus Blaise and Daphne]
Theo, I'm not sure what you have something planned for Daphne, but I was thinking maybe we should do something for both Blaise and Daphne as a group?

Surely you can think of something to do inside the castle on a dreary day.

I'm sure I could but it's far less fun alone.

I was just thinking the same thing, actually. I am definitely tired of being cooped up in this castle.

Josie
Not at all, darling. And I've got nothing planned this weekend, though I'm sure I should be studying now that it's officially May and there's less than two months left before N.E.W.T.s. I'm sure we could think of something. And I can't believe I just

Maybe we should all do something; Slytherin party? Wouldn't mind a big bonfire party!

You'll be brilliant! No need to spend hours in the library like some people without social lives. We do have Fridays completely freeof course you wouldn't

Damn right I will be! And agreed, take Theo for instance. I adore him, but that boy doesn't know when to take a break and relax. I smell a private party on Thursday night. You could even sleep it off in my room

It does, doesn't it? Might have to wait until the weekend, but at least we can be out longer then.

No, he really does not, and it's going to be the end of him. I dunno how Daphne puts up with it. Private parties are always the best kind Maybe if we were drunk

A bonfire this weekend would be brilliant. If only I could go ahead and throw my textbooks into it.

Josie
He's either going to study himself to death or study so hard that he wears himself out and goes mental. Maybe I ought to warn Daphne that she needs to put a stop to it before he breaks himself. I couldn't agree more.

And I think that if you don't want to throw a party then you don't have to. Is it because Blaise is being picky?

I think so too! Maybe we could do that after exams before we go home?

That's probably a good idea. I can see him having a nervous breakdown before the end of the year! Maybe we could

I'm just not sure anyone wants one. Maybe

Perfect, now I have something to look forward to instead of dreading being cooped up in the castle all weekend. And I am all for that idea as well.

Josie
If not at the end of the year, he's certainly not going to make it without one before the end of the summer. He's a good guy, but he needs to leave that much studying to Granger or the Ravenclaws. He knows what he's doing, unlike them. I'm open to suggestions

Pansy will murder us all in our sleep if we don't throw her a party. I'm kidding, but really...she'll want a party. And I'd hate to throw one for her and then leave out Blaise and Daphne. Well...you know how he is about things...so don't let him dissuade you.

Although, I do have something planned the night of Daphne's birthday, so any time other than that evening would be fine I guess, if you think the celebrations can't be separated.

Second Slytherin Ward
Sure, it's on a Tuesday anyway, probably not the best day for a huge party. It's just a shame it's on the same day, can't really spread them out so we could celebrate longer.

I can certainly help out with both of those things. What do you want the ceiling to look like?

Next Saturday or Sunday afternoon, maybe? Then people can party well into the evening if they want to. Though I guess Saturday would give everyone a chance to sleep it all off.

I was thinking floating birthday candles? Would that work? Maybe spelling out Happy Birthday? I could try it, but something tells me I'd burn the common room down. Though Blaise is now suggesting we have a joint party

I think I could manage that for you, sure. It seems a bit impersonal to lump all the birthdays together, but since it's the end of the year and we're all busy with the N.E.W.T.s and other end of the year exams, it makes sense to just have one big party, I guess.

You can still do something private, Blaise. Which I will gladly help you with. But you know Pansy - she'll want a party with her friends as well. There's nothing saying you can't have two parties in one night, especially since a lot of us will probably go to bed early due to studying.

I just don't want to have to make it through an awkward party first. I know that's selfish, but at least if I've tried to fix things first then I won't be on edge all night.

By the way, do you think she liked the flowers?

Perhaps the party would loosen her up a bit, though. Get her in a good mood so that anything you do will be icing on the cake?

I think she secretly did. She was curious about them and a bit wary at first but I tried to smooth things over and tell her that it was easy to sneak things into the girls' dorms. Just bribe a house elf or a younger Slytherin.

And risk her seeing Josie's flirtations and having an even higher wall up than she currently has? No thank-you. If Josie insists on a party that night then I say you all allow me to be the distraction.

What needed to be smoothed over?

I think that whatever we plan needs to be done fairly late. I know that several of us are trying to get as much time out of the library as we can muster and I'd hate to cut into that time. I can force her away that evening so you all can get things together if you wish.

Not to mention that you are seriously working on fucking up my plans.
