HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY PANSY!!

[Slytherins minus Pansy]
Okay! So this Saturday we'll have the Common room decorated for Pansy's party. Theo is going to help with charming the ceiling so we have birthday candles spelling out her name, and I've got pink streamers, decorations and such.

Does anyone know how to get the houselves to make her something?

[Slytherins minus Daphne and Blaise]
The details so far are an enchanted ceiling, and I was thinking we could do half the common room for Blaise and the other half for Daphne. I know it's not quite as individual, but there's be two cakes and all. Anyone have any ideas on themes?

Trace, I'm volunteering you onto the decorating committee.

I was counting on you keeping her occupied. Shouldn't need too much time, 20-30 minutes.

Thank you so much, dear. You are so sweet.

I love the enchanted ceiling idea. Maybe we could do those fireworks that they sell in Hogsmeade? The ones that aren't very loud, but are super sparkly? I know a friend that could pick some up for us?

Of course. I hope you have a lovely day.

Those would be good, we could try charming them silent as well. Not sure how well they'd do in an enclosed space, but if you can get some, I can test them out.

Sounds brilliant, Josie. I'll help you and Theo decorate, definitely.

And, if I have time, I'll also go with Daphne to help coerce the House Elves earlier in the day.

As far as themes go - for Blaise, I would keep it simple and elegant, clean lines, minimal, rich colours...that sort of thing. I can't really think of any sort of real theme for him.

For Daphne, I'd go along the same lines, but add some sparkle. Don't overdo it, but just enough glitter, as she deserves to shine. From what I've heard from Theo, it'll go well with what he has in store for her for their own private celebration.

I'm more than happy to help of course, dear!

That'll be lovely, extra wands are always appreciated.

Thank you! You're a star!

Second Ward
That's what I was thinking. Warmer, darker colours for Blaise. I suppose it doesn't need a theme more than a colour scheme, without necessarily going for the cliché green and silver.

Sparkle would suit quite well if we can get the fireworks Pansy was mentioning. Brighter colours as well, and I wouldn't dream of anything but elegance for either one of them.

Cheers, darling, maybe we can meet tomorrow? You owe me a surprise too

I try, darling.

Well, they are lovely colours, but I agree, a tad bit clichéd at times.

Oh, fireworks would be such fun! Brilliant, just brilliant really, and I know you wouldn't! You have excellent taste, after all.

Yes, let's meet up and get all this ready to go. I haven't forgotten, I promise.

Absolutely, some of my favourite colours, just a little too easy too.

Wouldn't they? Hopefully Pans can source them and I'm going to test them out in my dorm. Thank you, I think so too. I'm starting to love party planning

Brilliant, thank you!
