Rachel Berry is a plethora of different things. A child born out of pure love from her two gay dads ( to this day no one knows who is her actual father ) and a surrogate ( whom she discovered was Shelby Corcoran ), Rachel was bred to be a star from an early age. One could most definitely blame her two dads for her slightly overbearing personality and desire to always be the best at what she did -- especially when it came to music and the arts. That much was obvious since she was winning her first dance competitions at three months old and her first singing competition when she was eight months old. She had a pure talent.

Naturally, once she hit high school Glee was the natural progression her life seemed to take. Upon the entrance of Finn into the glee club, her little teenage heart began to flutter quickly in her chest. He was truly amazing and unfortunately ( initially ) taken by the pretty cruel and exceedingly gorgeous popular Cheerio, Quinn Fabray. It was rather devastating to her to realize that she, as the stunning young ingenue, and Finn as the hot male lead, would not be happening in the near future. Not that it stopped her from trying. But life for the little rising star would not always remain so tragic.

A light at the end of her tunnel. After Finn and Quinn broke up, due to her brilliant scheming, Rachel pounced on her chance to be with Finn. But that was short-lived and he broke her heart. Oh, the woes of Rachel Berry. She wasn't down for long, though, as she discovered her other musical soul mate, Jesse St. James. Unfortunately, he was the male lead at Carmel. They were just like Romeo and Juliet! No one wanted to make their love easy -- especially now that Finn had realized that going on a date with two Cheerios was not as fun as he thought. But Jesse would make the ultimate sacrifice for her and transfer schools so that they could properly be together. It was just too bad for Rachel that he had an ulterior motive. He was working under one Shelby Corcoran. In the end, Jesse broke her heart and some eggs on her. And the whole finally getting a mom thing? That didn't work out as planned either.

But there was one thing that worked in her favor. Finn admitted to her that he loved her. They've been dating all summer.

Currently, Rachel is sending people to inactive crack houses and letting Finn know how they are going to be raising their little babies when she's finally ready to have intercourse -- After she has won multiple Tony's that is.

Rachel tends to be an overbearing diva at times, but really, it's why everyone loves her! Singing is her life. She's just like Tinkerbell -- needing applause to feel as though she's somebody. Both of her dads made sure, even from a very young age, that she understood just how special she was. It's something that has definitely carried over in her life as she has grown up. All of it combined pushed her to be a very goal-oriented person. Her sights are always set above everyone elses, and while, sometimes, it may seem a bit over the top she knows it is the one thing that will give her that extra edge. There is no option other than succeeding. Winning is the only option. Becoming a Tony winner is the only option.

It makes her just a tiiiiny bit bossy, but who can really blame her?

Sadly, she often has a tendency to say whatever is on her mind without thinking about how it might sound or how it might make someone else feel. She's brutally honest with people. And? Her ideas are always right -- even when she has to bake her famous 'I'm sorry' cookies.

She is overly confident about her singing voice, but not about much else. This is quite clear by her lack of trust in what she and Finn have. While she loves him, she is still terrified of losing him. Rachel, just like everyone else, just wants to be loved and to have friends -- even if she doesn't quite know how to be friends with people. She does actually care about people, but sometimes her dreams and goals get in the way of those things.

Rachel can also be extremely intense. Or creepy -- really it's all in how you look at it. Finn calls it the "Swimfan crazy." She knows what she wants and she goes for it. At all costs.
