History When Raleigh was born in Raleigh, NC, his father was already on his way out of the state. Growing up without him wasn't so hard; his mother made sure to spend a lot of time with him and make sure he grew up right, despite her having to work two jobs and always struggling for money. When his dad came back, things got even better. His father stuck around long enough til his sister Boleyn was born, then left again. Shortly after, his mother was institutionalized. He and his sister were placed in foster care, and they moved around a lot with their foster family. They finally settled in Los Angeles. He started hanging out with a new crowd of people--one his mother never would have approved of. He knew she would have scoffed at their leather jackets, shied away from their Crayola box hair, but they made him think more than any of his other friends had. Soon after moving there, Raleigh moved out on his own, though he and Boleyn kept in close contact. He got a place with a few friends and as lived there ever since.
