Mars has always been a very sweet and creative boy. He feels deeply and translates emotion well into dance when needed. Because he is an empathetic soul, he often puts the emotions of others before himself. He likes to make others happy when they are hurting. Sometimes he focuses on others so much that it takes a toll on his own mental health. A very loving individual, once one has made friends with Mars, they are friends for life no matter what. However, making friends might be a bit hard for those that are not up to the challenge of breaking down his walls and getting past the awkward phase. Mars is highly sensitive and very timid around strangers even if he desperately wants to get to know someone.

Being such a sensitive boy, Mars struggles with critique. After getting things wrong with dance, even when the choreographer is kind, Mars holds in his emotions until he can cry later. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his passions and will keep at things until he can be perfect. Being sensitive and emotional, Mars does what he can to avoid conflict rather than seek or face it. When it comes to making big decisions, Mars is not the one to expect an answer quickly. He is the definition of indecisive and often worries if the choice he makes will make others unhappy.

With very few humans being aware of the existence of supernatural creatures, those that do are often written off as crazy or ignored altogether. However, there exist a few very small communities that worship these supernatural beings. Mars was born into one of these off the grid communes. The commune had a long history of offering their first born children to the vampires that they worshipped. The vampires claimed to be all powerful vampire royalty that would keep other dangerous creatures of the night at bay so long as they continued with their tribute.

Mars was the first born child to Sylvie and Olivier. To keep up with tradition, they raised him to be polite and kind. To be obedient but passionate. They encouraged him to follow his natural gift for dance and the arts. When he reached eight years of age he was gifted to the vampire family along with a couple of other children around the same age. While he was sad to leave his family, being the first born and getting to leave with the family was one of the highest honors one could have in the commune.

Not wanting to shame his family, Mars went with a smile on his face. Thankfully the vampires he ended up with in the beginning seemed to be kind- though firm-handed. The first place they were taken, they were taught what their purpose was among the vampires. Mars was anxious as they were taught about what it was like to be fed from. The little group he'd come to the new home with were each slowly introduced to the slave lifestyle. Those that had a harder time with learning how to be obedient were taken away for more intense lessons. Luckily, Mars was generally too timid to act out.

It took some time for him to get used to being fed from but the vampires were gentle for the most part. There were only a couple that were rough with him or liked to frighten him before feeding. Mars hated them. He quickly learned how to push back against those few- though his attempts were pathetic and often ended with him more frightened than if he'd simply allowed them to do as they pleased. But as his bit of fight brought them pleasure, it wasn't something he was truly punished for. In fact, his new family- like his parents before- encouraged him to continue studying dance. They allowed him to enroll in various dance classes as he grew up and ultimately allowed him to attend university as a dancer where he met his closest friend, Crimson. Mars continues to live for the vampire family, feeding them while pursuing his passion.

Mars has been dancing since he was able to walk. He's been in all kinds of dance classes and has trained his body to be able to bend in all sorts of ways to accommodate various dances.

Besides dance, another of his passions is singing though one wouldn't know unless they caught him in the shower or singing in the car. Mars has a beautiful singing voice but is very shy. Only a handful of people have heard him sing.
