"I hear that." Eric nodded with a little smile, indicating the water next to his glass of Crown. "Hydration is key, especially out here. 2 parts water, 1 part alcohol, usually."

Wow. What a fucking nerd, he thought to himself. He just had that scientific formula memorised after someone else had taught him. He was smart enough as it was, given his time in the air. Eric wasn't a pilot, but he still had to understand the physics of aviation just as well as pilots did, given his job at the time. Taking another drink as Izzy spoke, he confirmed for her a moment later.

"I'm from the ABQ originally, got stationed about 20 minutes away from here when I was in the Air Force. Luke AFB, air-to-air refueling crew." He said easily. All of that was just basic info. "Did some time in Syria, came home and now I'm here."

"But that's probably a lot more info than you wanted." He teased gently, just a bit self-depricating. Not overblown though.
