Davies, Roger Llewyn

JR 86 13 07 C

PERSONNEL:

Name: Roger Llewyn Davies
DOB: 11/11/77 DECEASED 09/31/03
Place of birth: Swansea, Wales, UK
Citizenship: British
Blood status: Muggle-born
Schooling: Hogwarts; Ravenclaw; 96
Assignment: Unspeakable - Department of Mysteries
Curse status: Y

Pair-bonding memos:

02/19/00
- Pattern of mild to moderate chronic childhood illnesses through the first 10 years of life. Despite potential of weakened immune system BM33 should be able to produce physically healthy offspring with low probability of immunocompromise.
- Mental health a factor based on mother's medical history. See attached.
- Mother: Severe case of early onset schizophrenia and habitual substance abuse problems. Unknown if substances were used during pregnancy but possible. Deceased via suicide age 27.
- Attempted murder-suicide on 11/1/85 with BM33 causing significant physical and mental trauma and hospitalization for both.
- BM33 shows signs of potential Avoidant Personality Disorder - can be managed with therapy and medication. No symptoms of schizophrenia; unlikely to carry genetic material to offspring.
- BM33 exhibits high levels of intelligence: must be paired with mentally comparable stimulating match to ensure timely propagation - BM33 is unlikely to produce offspring with matches they consider mentally inferior. BM33 is extremely independent to the point of personal detriment; prioritize matches with strong, outspoken yet patient and pliable personalities.

05/01/00
- BM33 matched to BF48 - highest possible matching score.

10/10/00
- Marriage completed; BM33 and BF48 appear a complimentary match. Expect longer than average time for offspring: estimated time 2 years before pregnancy. Reevaluate in one year.

10/10/01
- BM33 and BF48 have yet to produce offspring; based off the past year's evaluations it is unlikely they will do so in this following year baring any unforeseen accidents. Both parties are aware of ovulation cycles and are using it to their advantage despite supplied fertility potions. Their union does not appear unfavorable, but as expected have not bonded properly - lifestyles and personalities are not in alignment, possibly due to low psychological compatibility.

10/10/02
- BM33 has shown signs of instability over the past year with suspected substance abuse issues. Due to a death in BF48's family which affected BF48 psyche and M33's mental instability no offspring has been produced.

09/06/03
- Untreated mental illness in BM33 suspected; the DMFW director has motioned for BM33's removal from the program to mitigate the potential to pass on defective genetics. BF48 rematch to be reviewed upon the following year or confirmation of mental illness in BM33.

10/02/03
- BM33 declared deceased after missing for several days. Exhibits signs of torture and dark magic - See attached investigation notes.

Arranged Spouse: Tracey Davis - BF48

Match percentage: [REDACTED]
Biological compatibility: [REDACTED]

Notes for medical examiners:

- BM33's moods are exceptionally difficult to navigate. Do not engage if signs of irritability arise. Subject is highly unlikely to be a physical threat but will attempt psychological battery. It is best to operate with detachment as BM33 is adept at perceiving and exploiting areas of hidden insecurity.

- Do not attempt drop-in visits; this will upset BM33's mood and lower the outcome of a productive evaluation.

- When in doubt engage with and through BF48.

- Be aware of potential substance abuse and keep in mind the possibility of negative reaction with dispensed potions.

Notes for medical examiners:

- Do not insult or harass BM33's feline companions

- Do not break exam routines: maintain strict and timely adherence to an agreed upon exam schedule and operation method.

- 2/27/03: Visits to be suspended three months following injury from the terror attacks in Diagon Alley.

- If BM33 does not report for examination an extension must be filed immediately through Quintella Roberts - due to the time sensitive nature of BM33's research it is likely appointments will be missed.

Offspring

10/11/03

Despite BM33's death the pairing is a success; BF48 pregnancy confirmed 10/11/03 via DMFW director Weasley. Refer to BF48 file for offspring monitoring in regards to genetic mental deficiencies inherited from BM33 - probability low but not unlikely.

[ATTACHED MEMO] DECEASED - INVESTIGATION

On 10/01/03 the body of BM33 was discovered deceased in on the banks of the Thames in downtown London by Fiona Belmont following a disappearance report on 9/27/03. Coroner reported BM33 exhibited signs of drowning, muscle and bone bruising via impact with a blunt object, and suspected traces of dark magic. Hit Wizard Gawain first reported on the scene. Auror Weasley (BF40) dispatched to BF48.

UPDATE 10/2/03
BF48 signed releases to dispose of the body and waived any right to an autopsy report, with consent to seal BM33's file to the public. The body is set to be cremated and disposed of following an internal autopsy limit to [REDACTED] this afternoon.
BM33 was being treated for suspected Bipolar II. BM33's history of drug use and mental instability has been suggested by [REDACTED] as an alternative explanation to death with therapy notes to dam any potential discrepancies.

UPDATE 10/3/03
BM33 therapy and hospitalization records have been received. Autopsy received: findings [REDACTED]. Toxicology report: Clean. BM33 had been deceased a few hours before discovery. BM33 will be cremated and remains moved to [REDACTED]. BM33's research on the curse is theorized to have drawn attention from dark factions both domestic and foreign. Per [redacted] this information is not to be released to the public due to potential for national panic.

UPDATE 10/4/03
Investigation officially closed by [REDACTED]
