A list, to organize my thoughts:

1. I'm rubbish at Halloween costumes, so I know I'm going to have to be very creative in just a few days! So, if anyone has any thoughts, I would love to hear them. I would also love to hear what you're thinking about dressing up as as well.

2. It really is such an honor to be hosting the students here from the other schools. It will be the perfect opportunity to learn about them and ask how they take classes and what their school is like. Oh, I know we've said this over and over again, but I honestly can't wait! I hope everyone will be as warm and welcoming as possible.

~~3. I can't believe I'm getting all flustered about foreign boys coming round ... oh stop it, Samantha. You're being completely silly.~~

Am I the only one slightly anxious about the Slytherins hosting a Halloween party? ~~It's not that I'm~~ -- I don't mean that in a bad way at all... Just that, well, I offered to help Stella plan, like, make it an actual school-sponsored event and she seemed ~~well I don't want to say rude~~ like she was brushing me off. I just think we all know from experience that some Slytherins can be a bit, well, abrupt, with people from other houses. ~~Like me us Hufflepuffs.~~

	Does it? I think it sounds fun, myself. I agree! It was Stella's idea, and I can't thank her enough for coming up with it! And I kind of made most of it, though I had to buy some of the stuff. 	Me and Samir and Cedric and Stebbins are all going to be matching from old cultures that are really cool. I think I am going to be a Greek in a toga but I might be a Roman gladiator. It depends which one Cedric wants to be. Anyway, it will be lots of fun. You could be a Greek goddess or something to join our theme if you want. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Don't take it personally. I just get the impression that, for a prefect, she prefers things that don't have that sort of school association. I think given this experience - because I know for a fact some of the Slytherins were complaining - that for future events we should check on organising something outside of the common rooms. Unused classroom, perhaps?

	Well, yes well like I said, I offered to help so that it wouldn't be done in a common room, and that we could set it up officially somewhere else, but we'd have to talk to Professor Dumbledore or at least Professor McGonagall about this.
