APPEARANCE! Vincent will you teach me how to paint Teresa will I ever be a saint John I really think your songs are great I was born too late Samantha is blonde. It's a golden blonde that she sometimes charms darker or lighter first thing in the morning, depending on her mood. Usually, Samantha wears her hair as it naturally falls, which is in loose curls (on a good day), waves (on most days), or frizz (on bad days). Besides managing the colour, Samantha does little with her hair, alternating between leaving it down and pulling it into a single plait down her back. Down, her hair falls to just above her elbows. Her eyes are grey, not blue, and no, it's not up for debate. Her Grandfather Burke once compared her eyes to the sky over a stormy English channel, not the channel itself, and therefore, her eyes are grey. Like most Englishwomen, Samantha is pale, and while she likes the sunshine as much as the next person, she steers clear. She doesn't tan, she burns. She does wear make-up, a light peaches-and-cream colouring for her face (to give it some semblance of a colour besides pasty and pale), and she sticks to natural colours like pale pink for her lips and tans or very light brown for her eyes. Her make-up wearing days are the weekends, not during the week and in class. She is average height, about 5'5" in her bare feet. And she weighs slightly more than she wishes, giving her cheeks and stomach some padding. She has strong legs, because she is a runner -- in the summers more than than during the school year, though when she is not buried under schoolwork and her prefect and, to come, Head Girl duties, she enjoys jogging around the grounds when the weather is nice. Her arms aren't very defined, so you won't ever see her flexing her muscles or showing off. She certainly isn't built like her older brother, who is a professional Quidditch player. When she is stressed (which is often), her hair frizzes and falls out of place, and her cheeks turn pink without ay help from blush. It is also those days when her uniform is disheveled and her tie crooked, though most days she tries her best to look nicely put together. When not in her school robes (such as in the summertime or Hogsmeade weekends), Samantha prefers to wear dresses or knee-length skirts and blouses. She certainly isn't very ostentatious or outrageous with her wardrobe. In fact, it's rare to find her in Muggle fashions, as she prefers and feels much more comfortable in robes and dresses. FAMILY! William will you teach me how to write Cassius will you show me how to fight Thomas A. I think I see the light I was born tonight PARENTS: Raphael Capper, 40, former Ravenclaw, half-blood, manager, Wimbourne Wasps. Edith (Burke) Capper, 39, former Hufflepuff, half-blood, healer, St. Mungo's Magical Bugs and Diseases. SIBLINGS: Damien Capper, 20, former Hufflepuff, reserve chaser, Appleby Arrows. Gillian Capper, 15, 6th Year Ravenclaw. Nathan Capper, 12, 2nd Year Ravenclaw. FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS: Samantha is a family girl, and especially a daddy's girl. She gets along with both her brothers as well as she could, but her best relationship is with her younger sister. She considers her sister her best friend and her confidant even though she's younger. As far as comparisons, Samantha is most like her mother -- driven and serious -- though Samantha's goals lie in the Ministry, not at St. Mungo's or on the Quidditch pitch.

PERSONALITY! I've had a hard time leaving this place I've been counting all the lines on my face I'm gonna curse the sky, hit the ground What goes up comes tumbling down FIRST IMPRESSION: Samantha will be smiling -- it might be a harried or a stressed smile -- but it'll be a smile. PERSONALITY: Samantha likes to think she is ace at multi-tasking. That is mostly because it's necessary that she multi-task, since she has so much going on. The truth is, she is really good at it, but she's not particularly good at managing her time. Which means that after just about one week of school, Samantha is stressed. She's really good at hiding her stress level, though, and it's only her closest friends who can tell when everything's getting to her. And that isn't until about half-way through term. Some of her professors might notice that she's overwhelmed and sometimes cries while she's alone in the shower or prefect's bath, but since she still gets done what needs to get done, and she still succeeds in all over her classes, it (usually) isn't an issue. But Samantha would rather her stress-level not define her. She is smart, a hard-worker, fair, and does her absolute best to get along with everybody, no matter their house, blood status, disposition, sex, or demeanor. In fact, Samantha prides herself in giving everyone a chance, then a second chance, and usually also a third chance. She doesn't like being judged (and she's had her fair share of it, as a blonde, and as a Hufflepuff), and she won't judge another person without knowing the other person. Even if someone were to betray her or give her a reason to dislike them, she is, as stated, a person who gives everyone another chance. Even when she shouldn't. For these reasons, she's sure, she was chosen as Head Girl in her 7th Year, after serving since 5th Year as a prefect for her house as well. She was up to the task and took it very seriously, probably too seriously that first year, but she's proud of herself and her position. LIKES: Music, singing, school, traveling, keeping busy, Arithmancy, numbers, late nights, clear skies, long showers, running, Quidditch (watching and talking about, not playing), reading. DISLIKES: Heights, flying, stress, vegetables, too much sunshine (yes, really), getting her hands dirty, cold showers, swimming, sleeping in.
BIOGRAPHY! Jimi show me how you play that thing Elvis will I ever be a king and Jerry all the joy and love you bring I was born to sing Raphael Capper and Edith Burke were not in the same house and were a year apart, however, they both played Quidditch for their house teams, and in Raphael's 7th Year, he hit a bludger into the left arm of 6th Year Hufflepuff keeper Edith. While it did mean a win for Ravenclaw, it also meant that Raphael, who was the sort of boy who held open doors for girls and helped old ladies cross the street, felt horrible. He visited her in the Hospital Wing with flowers and, despite the hit, the loss, and the broken arm, Edith decided she quite liked Raphael. They were married shortly after graduation, even though they hadn't been together long. Raphael began a professional Quidditch career with the Wimbourne Wasps, and Edith took her healing training with St. Mungo's. They set about to start a family. Samantha came second of four, a smiling, happy baby, so different from her older brother, who had been a sullen, cranky infant and toddler. Since the four Capper children were so nicely spread out, there seemed to be no shortage of children and playing and toys. All of the Capper children, from a young age, were taught the basics of Quidditch and flying, though Samantha took to it least well, thanks to a nasty spill she had down the front staircase on her toy broom. From that moment on, while Samantha enjoys watching and strategizing Quidditch (she especially likes statistics and facts, moreso ones that involve numbers), she knew she would never play. Or get on a broom again. (She had to have a doctor's note -- lucky for her her mother is a Healer -- to get out of Flying with Madam Hooch in first year.) As expected, she received her Hogwarts letter at 11 and headed off to school with her older brother. The Sorting Hat chose Hufflepuff for Samantha, commenting on her work ethic, drive, and determination to treat everyone she meets fairly and kindly. To her surprise (her brother said his Sorting lasted a while and the hat went back and forth between houses for a bit), the hat seemed to have no other option for her than Hufflepuff. She entered in easily, making friends and enjoying her classes. It wasn't until midway through her third year, however, that Samantha's hard working, overachieving nature truly kicked in, and she had her first stress anxiety attack. They came regularly after that, though Samantha refused to let stress and overwhelmment get in the way of getting her work done and doing her best. She was near the head of the class in multiple classes, but especially in Arithmancy and History of Magic. The work paid off, and in her fifth year, Samantha was made prefect. She took her role seriously, and was fair and impartial with any decision she had to make. Really, the only thing Samantha is incapable of being objective about is Quidditch. For one, she will always, always, always root for Hufflepuff over any of the other teams. For two, she will always root for either Wimbourne or Appleby, her father's and her brother's teams respectively. When they play each other, she refuses to take sides. Despite not being a player herself, Samantha is fanatic about Quidditch. She received notice that she was made Head Girl early this summer, and she is, frankly, pleased as punch.
