ABILITIES & SKILLS
Most of the info about the Power is taken from here THE POWER
The exact origins of the Power remain unclear. Not even the Book of Damnation - which contains the entire written history of the Ipswich Covenant - has no record of its beginnings. The only consistency being that those who mastered the Power were persecuted as witched and hunted.
POWER SENSORY
Because of their bond, Pogue is able to sense when the other Sons of Ipswich are using their powers. It can be faint, maybe enough to just give him goosebumps or strong enough wake up him from a deep sleep.
Warlocks can conjure spirits of the deceased (darklings). While Pogue has never done it, he has felt it.
TELEKINESIS
Telekinesis is the most visible of a warlock's abilities. This allows them to perform a variety of effects that defy gravity; ranging from falling from great heights without harming themselves to flying or even the levitation of various objects, such as paper. They can use this ability offensively by creating concussive blasts powerful enough to knock people a few feet away.
INCREASED STRENGTH
Warlocks can increase their strength to considerable levels.
GLAMOUR/SHAPESHIFTING
The Power bestows the ability to "glamour" or deceive others by taking on the appearance and voice of another person. Pogue has never tried this though.
OTHERS
There are other powers warlocks are able to do, such as pyrokinesis, aerokinesis, influence the weather, levitation, astra projection and teleportation. However, Pogue, even after ascending, has tried very little of them becuse of the addiction it gives those who have the Power and have Ascended.
WEAKNESSES
ADDICTIVENESS :: As each time the user makes use of The Power, either for helpful or harmful purposes, they become addicted to it, and as a consequence, seek to use The Power much more than is necessary. Unless one has a strict will against the addiction of their powers, they can't handle the addiction and become consumed by The Power's seductive nature. ACELERATING AGING :: After one Ascends, The Power becomes your life and causes one to age prematurely each time The Power is used. This means that even though a man in his early-twenties or forties, consumed by the overuse of their powers, can age prematurely and look like a man close to or over a hundred years old and require medication and machines just to stay alive until they die later on. WILLING :: The users of The Power can also do what is called "willing". It's the act of giving up your life to gift someone else with The Power which you possess - you die in the process of willing it away. The person you give the power to becomes more powerful but also more tempted to "use".
MECHANICS
He has a talent for anything mechanic, cars and bikes in particular. But anything mechanic immediately gets is attention. He can take anything apart and then put it back in perfectly. His brain just sees how everything is put together even if just a sketch.
SWIMMING
Pogue is an excellent swimmer (breaststroke), being part of the swimming team at Spencer Academy since the beginning.
HISTORY

✗ Their families were old money, their ancestry dating back to the Salem Witch trials and the establishment of the town of Ipswich. But that wasn't all of that brought them together. The families shared a secret: the males of the family were warlocks. But that power came with a price. The more they used it, the more it consumed their bodies and life; and it was addictive, specially after The Ascend, where they got the full us of their powers.
✗ Pogue's family always told him to be careful with his powers and for the most part he followed those rules. He wasn't as bad as Reid, but he did use his powers here and there when it really wasn't necessary.
✗ Pogue's passions were always two: his bike and swimming. He learned how to ride a bike when he was 6 thanks to his father, and to his mother's dismay -- she thought those things were too dangerous. Swimming just came natural for him. The moment he got into a pool when he was 8, he knew it was where he had to be. He was the best breaststroke swimmer at Spenser Academy, and helped the team go to State Finals two years in a row.
✗ Pogue attended Spence Academy pior to college, along with Caleb, Tyler and Reid. They were the kings of school, whether or not they wanted it. The Sons of Ipswich were well know and everybody wanted to be friends with him, including a new transfer, Chase Collins. Pogue didn't like Chase from the start. There was something off about that guy, and it wasn't just because he kept flirting with his then girlfriend Kate. And his point was proven when Caleb and he discovered he was the long-banished fifth son of the Sons of Ipswich. Chase was a descendant of the Putnam family, which was supposed to be killed off during the Salem Trials.
✗ Chase used Kate and Pogue to get to Caleb to will him his powers once he ascended. Chase put a spell on Kate and when Pogue, filled with anger after learning about it, went after him, he caused a bike accident that almost cost him his life.
✗ After he recovered from the accident, he went back to his life: swimming, studying and Kate -- although Kate didn't last for too long in his life. They kept fighting just as much as they did before or even more, and even though they still cared deeply for one other, they both decided to end the relationship.
