Priscilla presents as perfect. It's the easiest way to describe her everyday attitude. It's true that she may be a little stand offish, more than a little vain, and someone who expects the best at all times. She isn't exactly mean, but Priscilla likes everything to be as they should. There may be a little underlying OCD in there somewhere. Her appearance is always immaculate, her manners impeccable, and her actions impressive. She plays the part of perfect quite well, and in reality there's probably a large part of her personality that doesn't have to pretend when it comes to the finer things in her life. Priscilla is well-groomed, and knows the value of both her studies and social awareness. She doesn't act out, doesn't raise her voice, doesn't do anything that could be considered "lowly" or "distasteful". She is obedient to a fault when it comes to her parents and older brother, and this obedience extends to all persons of authority. Priscilla may not like taking orders, and she may not like the perception that she's a docile lady, but she would never dare to speak out in defiance. She holds too much respect for those who have power, and in truth she's never known any other way. As a down side, she tends to run a little wild when it comes to peers she feels aren't on the same status level as her. Priscilla can be bossy and intimidating to those beneath her, and has been accused of elitist behavior more than once. She doesn't exactly want to make people feel bad, but she was raised with a strong belief in the hierarchy system. It's just the way of the world to her. Some are leaders, other are followers. Some are made to rise up, others to cater to them. The end.
As much as she acts and looks perfect, however, there's much more than just the high maintenance courtier everyone sees. Priscilla has a fire in her that she doesn't quite recognize, and there is so much she hasn't experienced that she doesn't even realize she's missing. She's seen and read about love, but never felt it. She's never experienced chemistry and passion so intense it leaves you breathless, and while others might yearn for such a thing, she is blissful in her ignorance. She may be intelligent and cunning, but Priscilla is naïve in many ways. She can manipulate and sweet talk, but doesn't have the intuition to know when it's being used on her. She puts a lot of stock in how others perceive her, and is constantly worrying if she's doing the right things. Making people mad or disappointed is one of her biggest fears, and she will often conform despite what her gut tells her just so she doesn't risk losing someone. One would be remiss to classify her as helpless, however. Priscilla can have a temper, and it is the one time she is truly terrifying. She has no problem putting someone in their place if they cross her, and can be quite vicious on her quest for vengeance.
Behind closed doors, and with a very select few, Priscilla will let her guard down. There aren't many people she feels safe around, but when she does, they are treated to a genuine and delightful young woman. She is vibrant, she is goofy, she is inhibited, she just simply is. She can express her passions, her excitement, her dreams when she's with those she trusts. She can relax and feel free to make mistakes, not having to worry about anyone seeing and using it against her or her family. Priscilla can get tired of having to be perfect all the time, but would never dare complain aloud. She has a tendency to bottle everything up, taking it all on instead of sharing, and isn't very adept at talking about her feelings. She is dutiful in her relationships, but doesn't know how love is truly supposed to work. She's never been allowed to feel anything outside what is right, and doesn't know how she'd ever recognize such a feeling if it presented. Still, she's a fierce friend and a loyal ally to have on your side. Priscilla might like her appearances and reputation, but she isn't one to lie in order to get what she wants. She values honesty, as she's never really had any reason to lie being as obedient as she is, and expects the same courtesy in others.

Unlike some who grow up privileged, Priscilla never let it make her cruel. Sure, she was snobby in a lot of ways and found it difficult to curb her more elitist habits, but she wasn't one of those mean rich girls. She had her group of friends, carefully selected from appropriate options her parents laid out and invited to birthdays, and she was content with that. Pris had the best tutors, the best chefs working in house, and the best of basically anything money could buy. The only thing she didn't have was freedom. Even at a young age, she understood that there were certain expectations placed upon her. She might have had a feistiness in her, inherited from her mother as her father often said, but she knew her place. No matter how much she might want to protest, there were things she simply could not fight. There were expectations on everything she did. Who she could be friends with, who she could be seen with, and most importantly who she dated. Pris might have longed for her own fairytale, longed for the passion and connection she read about in books, but she knew that likely would not be the reality for her life. At least not unless she became seriously lucky in who she happened to fall in love with.
Despite this, she attended the boarding and private schools that were not only prestigious but elite, taking great care that her cultivated reputation and image were never compromised. It wasn't that hard given the caliber of people that surrounded her, though none of them sparked that fire in her that she longed for secretly. At least not until she finished school. It was a chance meeting that brought her into [NAME HERE]'s path, and the sparks were everything she'd ever read about and more. Not knowing enough about his family told her all she needed to know: he likely was not an appropriate match for her in her parents' eyes. Instead of risking their disapproval and them therefore stopping her from seeing him, Pris chose to pursue their relationship in secret. It was as enticing and thrilling as it was anxiety-inducing, but she didn't see any other way. Her parents hadn't approached her about a match they'd found for her, leaving her free to do as she pleased....in secret, of course.
This has been going on for several months now, progressing to a place where she's afraid of what will happen when her parents do find someone for her. That worry has more merit now that they've called her home to L.A. after years of studying abroad. Pris knows nothing good, for her at least, can come from such a summons but she can't exactly refuse.
