How have I managed to never, up to this point, experience shopping with a teenage girl in charge? It's terrifying! We were in the shopping center for hours and apparently, there were still Very Important things she needed to try on. I'm old! I'm not built for following around someone with almost as much energy as me while she tosses articles of clothing at me which I am apparently supposed to carry for her.

By the end of it, we both required an entire pizza and she wouldn't even let me have a beer because she's really quite on the ball about that.

I say this all as if I wouldn't do it again in a heartbeat. But I really would.
