George was deeply involved in the process of making his tea, so involved that he didn't hear Mairead come in. He let out a surprised "oof!" when she wrapped her arms around him.
"Hey, kiddo," he said with a grin, wrapping an arm around her shoulders to return the hug. "Want some tea?"
