They're so cute! Okay well do you think we should get them a fun present or a practical present? I mean I know practical present makes the most sense or, like, money, I guess that's the most useful gift, but you know me, I can't pass up a fun present. And they had an impulse wedding so I feel like they're the kind of kids who'd appreciate a tandem skydiving experience or something, you know? Except maybe not skydiving specifically in case her boy is scared of heights.

Or we could get them one of each? Both? Both is good.

Aw, babe. It's fine, it's all good. They're kids, it was Vegas, sometimes one thing just leads to another! And she's gonna introduce you to him, right? So you can meet him and make sure he's not some kind of opera house-haunting gremlin. (That's a joke, just to be clear! I am 150% confident Lyra didn't marry the Phantom of the Opera, everything is fine.)

Okay, so no extravagant gifts, got it. How about a couple comp tickets for Farcical? Meal and a show? And, I dunno, I just googled "practical wedding presents" and all the results are either boring as ass or, like... this.

If she DID marry the Phantom of the Opera, think of the residuals though! That was also a joke! Thank you. You're right. I hope she didn't rush into something and it ends up bad, but if it does we'll be there. And we'll be supportive through it all.

We just gotta let her know we have her back no matter what. It's $3k or it would already be in my shopping cart. Although who am I trying to kid, I've spent way more than $3k on a joke before.
