The more reasons I think of, the more I'll put on here.
Even when I was a freshman in high school, I had my eyes on some pretty 'top notch' schools like the Culinary Institute of America, Johnson & Wales, and other culinary schools like that. Of course, they were way out of my reach then, but after I graduated school, I shot for another school - Full Sail University, and I got in. I didn't end up graduating, but it definitely gave me the inspiration to be better at a skill I'm passionate about.
When I was in high school, I ran for President of Student Council, twice. Did I get elected? No. My posters were next-level cringe and badly designed.
When I started roleplay, I had no idea what resource sites were. Eventually I ended up joining up with a site (Far-Fetched Premades) and after I joined FFP, I tried a few times to start my own. It fell through a couple times, but now I run my own relatively-popular resource site (Damnedest Creations), where I make layouts and graphics for people.
