ATEEZ covered Thunderous by Stray Kids

Welcome to another episode of "I'm bored and have entirely too much time on my hands".

This is just a fun thing I wanted to do. I won't be using my characters' names in this, I'll be speaking about ATEEZ/SKZ in terms of their real-life names just to keep things simple.

First I'm gonna break down the members and their roles in each group. Note, all these beautiful men are impeccable dancers so I'm just gonna note down their verbal roles. I'm not paying attention to who's a "visual" either because they're all gorgeous, let's be real.

Line Distribution

We'll start out with the leader of ATEEZ, and work our way down the age line from there. Stray Kids has more rappers than ATEEZ, but to me there's really only two significant rap parts in Thunderous and they belong to Changbin and Hani. The rest of Thunderous is mostly singing with some minor rapping parts with Felix and Lee Know.

Hongjoong → Han
Hongjoong has a similar voice to Han when he raps, and Hani is one of the main rappers of Stray Kids, so I know Hongjoong would do really well with Hani's parts.

Seonghwa → Hyunjin
Hyunjin is a lead rapper of Stray Kids but he mostly sings in this song. Other than that, Hyunjin is one of the main dancers of Stray Kids and I think Seonghwa would look amazing dancing Hyunjin's parts.

Yunho → Bangchan
Bangchan is certainly a talented rapper, but he's actually a lead vocalist in Stray Kids (aside being the leader) and Yunho's vocals would sound great with Bangchan's lines.

Yeosang → Felix
Felix's trademark characteristic as an idol is his deep voice. It does get a fair bit higher-pitched when he actually sings, though. Yeosang's voice has a similar situation in regards to that duality but overall I think his voice would sound best with Felix's parts in Thunderous, especially after hearing Yeosang's part during the bridge in "Eternal Sunshine". When I hear "Keep on talkin', we don't play by the rules" from Felix, I can't help but see Yeosang slaying that.

San → Lee Know
I'm giving San Lee Know's parts simply for the fact that Lee Know is another main dancer for Stray Kids, and San's energy when he dances is absolutely incredible. Lee Know's dancing is always incredibly energetic and San can definitely step up to the plate.

Wooyoung → I.N.
Wooyoung and I.N. are literally perfect to take each other's parts because they both have a distinctively higher-sounding voice than their other bandmates, similar to Jimin from BTS. I can see Wooyoung absolutely slaying any part belonging to I.N.

Mingi → Changbin
Changbin is one of the main rappers of Stray Kids and though his voice is definitely a bit higher-pitched than Mingi's, Mingi would still bring his own flair to Changbin's lines, just as Hongjoong would bring his own to Hani's.

Jongho → Seungmin
Seungmin is the main vocalist of Stray Kids, and Jongho is the main vocalist of ATEEZ. I feel like this one is kind of self-explanatory, but I honestly feel like this is the best fit regardless of their original positions within their groups when it comes to this song in particular.
