Biography Ah well, such is the bread of an everyday life From morning to noon to this shadowless night |

Born in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland, Seamus was the second child of Ciaran and Grace Murphy. For a while at least he was the typical youngest child...always getting away with things because of his age and how cute he could look. And he definitely used that to his advantage since getting his big brother in trouble was always fun. At least until he grew up a bit and the bond between them got stronger. Seamus never truly settled down though. As he got older, his friends became more and more influential. And not in a good way. By the time he was twelve, Seamus was starting to make a name for himself with the local constables. Moving to Boston couldn't have come at a better time for the young boy, although at the time it was the last thing he wanted to do. His parents didn't give him a choice though. For reasons that he didn't know until much later, everything they owned was packed up and shipped to the US, followed by the Murphy family. South Boston became his new playground, most centered around the pub his parents had decided to open. Both boys finished growing up in and around the place before going off to live their own lives for a bit. It didn't take long though for Seamus to end up back at the pub, working there whenever he wasn't getting into trouble with his new group of friends. He tried to keep that part of his life away from the family though since he now had a baby sister to look after. She had been born after their move to Boston and he took his job as an older brother seriously. Nothing was going to happen to her if he could help it. After his parents' deaths, Seamus became co-owner of their pub, transitioning into the job fairly easily. Gone were the days of hanging out with friends and committing petty crimes from time to time. Now he had a business to help run and someone to look after. Although no amount of responsibility had changed the fact that he would be the first in a fight if one broke out. The only thing that will stop him is the presence of his son. A few years back, Seamus met a girl that he almost believed was the one. Only it turned out that she left him in the middle of the night after a pregnancy scare. A scare he never knew about. One year later, she turned up on his doorstep once again with their three month old son, Connor, and declared that he was the father. And since she couldn't handle being a single parent, it was now his turn to care for their child. Four years have passed since then and, even though it was a struggle at first, he hasn't regretted a single day of fatherhood. Besides his brother and sister, Connor is the most important thing in Seamus' life. |
