"I have no clue," Edmund admitted, shaking his head. He glanced up to the sky. "It's still morning, I think. But not so very early."
He stepped closer, moving to greet her with a warm hug, then stepped back. "I was sleeping, too. It was quite a surprise to find myself here and not wrapped up in my blankets when I woke up. But shall we try to find our way out? Perhaps we could find our way back to our beds." He paused for a moment. "Our separate beds, I mean. Not that I'd- not before we're married, of course- oh, never mind. You know what I mean."
His cheeks flushed, and he offered his arm. "Shall we?"
