AU History Blurb: Steve died in 1918, and, while he wasn't happy about it, he had accepted his fate. What he didn't expect was to wake up in Everett, Washington, in a different dimension, in a world filled with zombies and other supernatural events. Oh, and he was also over a hundred years in the future. It felt like something out of a bad novel, but there had been one good point. It turned out that Diana (lj user="stayfightgive">) was there as well. She had been willing to help him figure out the modern world, and, even with all the insanity around them, they were getting to have a life they'd otherwise never have experienced.
So, despite something deranged trying to kill them all on the regular, he was happy. There had been one strange incident when he'd woken up with new memories, the last thing he'd expected. It turned out that Diana had briefly brought him back to life in 1984 with a wish, a wish that she had to give up to save the world. That was only a small bump in the road, though. He worked defense for the city, and also picked up a job in helping with security at Lilah Morgan's Spa. He and Diana got married, and, despite it all, life was good.
Then came Wolfram & Hart, a law firm that was the epitome of cliche in their evilness. Cliches aside, they were also powerful, and eventually decided to try and take out everyone in the town. Despite Diana's worry, Steve was determined to defend the town along with everyone else. While their losses were heavy, they both survived, and he was looking forward to the future.
It was then that he was pulled from Everett to Hawaii.
