Physical Description:
Personality: Bill is an Ideas guy. The leader of the Losers, he was the one who worked out what they were doing that day and where they would be playing, and the one who decided they all needed to go after Pennywise. He is determined and brave, and can be very persuasive at times.
Despite all this, he's often very reluctant to talk around anyone who isn't one of his friends, or his parents. Bill had a very bad stutter as a child, and finds it a lot easier to write down what he has to say or just let other people talk. It got worse when he gets worked up about things, but vanishes completely if he doesn't talk in his own voice (something which he never quite realizes).
Bill writes a lot. Stories, mainly - as Georgie once said, Bill could make you see the stories he wrote. He got excellent grades in English because of his writing. He's also good at art, and can often be found people-watching and sketching what he sees, and he likes to illustrate his own stories. He sometimes teaches Station kids English or Creative Writing, when Miguel bullies him into it.
Brief History: Bill was 3 years old, he was in an accident and was hurt quite badly. A car hit him and threw him into a wall. He hit his head, and was knocked out for 7 or 8 hours. When he awoke, he had the stutter.
When he was 10, and loaded with the 'Flu, he'd been on pretty strict orders from his mom to stay in bed. There was a storm blowing, and had been for the past few days, which explained why the roads were all closed. Georgie had asked him to help make a paper boat so he could go sail it down the puddles, and Bill had done as he asked. Then his little brother went out into the rain and Bill never saw him again. His little brother was murdered in the street.
Aged 11, Bill and his friends took over the Barrens as their place to play during the summer holidays. While there, they discovered all kinds of things, like how to build a dam and an underground hide-out (thanks to Ben), historical photographs can somehow start moving (thanks to Mike), Henry Bowers is completely insane (thanks to Henry Bowers) and the clown that wakes up every 27 years or so to kill people (including Georgie) lives down in the sewers. So Bill and his friends are going to go kill the fucker.
Game History: Bill wound up on a space station. He was adopted by Kat, and thinks of her as his mom now. Loki is his grandfather, and he calls him "Old Man". Due to in-game family stuff, Bill has been learning some types of magic. Kat was able to teach him Dr. Strange-type magic, and he can use a sling ring. Loki has been training him for years in combat, using a set of Asgardian knives that the god gifted to him when he was still only eleven. He has access to a small pocket dimension where he keeps his knives. Bill specialises in protective magic, and is very good at shields. For his 21st birthday, he was offered the chance to get powers from one of the infinity gems. He accepted, and is now capable of swapping places with people (a strange sort of teleportation that lets him protect people even more than usual).
Richie and Eddie and Ben showed up on the station as well, and Kat adopted all of them. He fell almost instantly for Abra Stone, and they wound up dating. All the Losers are very slightly Shiny, like Abra and Dan Torrance. They get stronger when they're around each other, and Bill has basic telepathy with anyone that's Shiny.
Loki worked for quite a while to help Bill get rid of his stutter, given that it was caused by Pennywise in the first place. Bill still speaks slowly, though, and if he's very tired or worked up about something, the stutter can show up again. But mostly, it's gone.
Due to Tommy Sully's time fuckery, Bill has bounced between being a kid and being in his 40s quite a lot. It's just something that happened. When he's older, he's married to Abra, he's an author who sometimes teaches, and is more than used to helping out round the station in any way he can.
Skills/Powers/Abilities: Bill is slightly Shiny. He's a skilled magic user, and has been trained to fight by Loki. He's good at writing stories, drawing and painting, and he can do impressions of people - some much better than others (he sounds very much like Loki if he wants to).
