"Think?" Riley echoed, "Think?" He snarled again, unfazed by the appearance of Tao's fangs. He raised up a hand and brought it down to shove the vampire's shoulder against the ground. "I am wolf and tooth and claw, I am a descendant of the sun for fuck's sake, and I am the rightful alpha, I have my pack, and together we will keep our lands and our children safe." He leaned in, his scrunched nose just barely brushing Tao's. "I will die before I let it end. I will die before I stop fighting." He opened his mouth slightly, just to breath hot air on the vampire's lips. "I - hate-" He hissed. "So much."
