Riley's nostrils flared as the vampire looked him up and down. When their eyes met once more, his eyes were amber as the morning star in a summer sunset. It was an instinctive reaction, but not an angry one - more interested than anything else. His eyebrows rose slightly. "I'm partial to violence." He said, his tone light. "In my family, bitin' is just a kind of hello, goodbye, nice to meetcha, all those sorts of things." He craned his head to one side, his big yellow eyes curious. "We scratch and claw, and that's how we like it."
