Riley let out a soft groan, a garbled sort of growl, as Tao's hands slid along his back. His breath eased out of him and he closed his eyes again. He buried his head into the mattress and slowly began to shift. When he was done it was clear that, while they were still visible, the wounds had healed somewhat. All of the blood, however, was still present. The blood that had sunk into his hair spread over his clean skin. His breath was still quick and shallow, and there was sweat on his forehead. He said nothing, instead he raised his head and looked back at Tao with the same large amber eyes.
