A faint smile played across his face. "Yes well, there's a usefulness in allowing humans to believe what they want about you. It's a kind of control." His eyes flicked back towards him once again. "If they had any intelligence they would remember that most animals are better parents then humans these days. I believe they prefer their nightmares."
He hadn't said it intentionally. He had no idea that Riley was having nightmares. He himself didn't dream, not that he ever remembered. He wasn't lucky enough to have his subconscious work out issues, he went over them in his own mind in the waking hours. "I can funnel information through Marie, but by phone. I, recommend, that no actual information be given. I am unsure it's safe. Jeanne has noted, a difference in Marie as well."
