Tao felt his lips curve down slightly and he almost growled. "For you, and your brashness. Idiot." He added with a mutter. He closed his eyes and could bring up the image of the sun through the trees, the feel of it on skin. He couldn't find any of his own memories of the sun, so kept this one close.
"Legends are nothing more then dead men that died doing something stupid." He kissed along his jaw and shook his head, his stomach clenched as he moved and his own hips pressed against him. "It's not all right. I shouldn't have held on so long. Let it go, little wolf. Let it slip from your mind." His voice softened, went down an octave. He wouldn't compel it, not just yet, but he wasn't going to be the thing that broke him.
