Riley was completely enraptured by Tao's eyes, almost in a trance, as the movements of body began to slow. He kept his eyes on Tao's as he leaned in to press another kiss to his lips, and then another and another until they were all soft and gentle, all in succession. He was completely vulnerable and it was so incredibly beautiful that it threatened to draw the breath clear out of him, except that he had to keep on breathing, for Tao's sake. He wrapped the vampire up in his arms and held him close, touching their foreheads together. "See?" He murmured, "I haven't run away."
