Tao didn't want to be flipped so he moved up more on his knees as Riley turned and raised his hands just slightly. He understood that he shouldn't have even a measure of the information he now had, but he should also have gotten rid of Riley as soon as he realized what kind of leader he would be. Oh he'd be a fine pack leader, for the pack, but not at all easily manipulated and it would just make more work for Tao in some ways. A weak leader meant a weaker pack which was what most vampires would prefer.
