There was nothing about this situation to make Riley feel even remotely comfortable about the idea of having a clanless shifter on his pack lands - and no matter what Tao said, these were part of the shifters' lands, and the elders wouldn't let it stand. When invited, Riley rose to his feet, shifted his weight from one foot to the other, and then trailed after Tao, following him to the room. His brow furrowed even deeper when he saw what the vampire had to show him.
"He's barely more than a pup." Riley said with disdain, looking from the shifter and then to Tao and then back again. "He is a pup. I could kill him in about five seconds."
