Narcissa is aware that I want to propose to you. She doesn't know when and I imagine she would very much like the surprise of finding out by a formal public announcement from our parents. But if you would like me to tell her personally, I can do that.
She knows how I feel about you. There is no need to worry about being on her good side. I sometimes think Narcissa enjoys being difficult for the sake of being difficult.
