It’s a good thing I’m not the insecure sort of wife, because opening his own legal practice seems to take up a lot of my husband’s time.

The good news for customers at Nyx is that this has given me time to think on upgrades to our cocktail menu, but there is always room for more. Which spirits would you like to see feature more heavily, or perhaps there is something you think you could never enjoy drinking which can be worked into something truly pleasurable by my talented bar staff?

I am not aware of such a law, but as I am in my office so much, I can look into it.

I think you should simply ask your secretary to do that to save your precious time. Or you could let your brilliant wife find out for you and come home to see what she learned.

Seems rather suspect for the criminal to research the very law they are breaking. You do understand that I would have to persecute you to the fullest extent of the law should you admit to your guilt.

I am sure there are many criminals using the law itself to avoid prosecution.

I understand the risks though, and I will accept the consequences.

Of course, but they never seem to do well on their own. I fully advise against it and suggest that you take advantage of my uses in the matter.

I don't know that you do. To be sure, maybe I should come home and you can prove it to me that you are aware of the risks and consequences of your actions.
