Brief Personality: Combeferre, Enjolras' second-in-command, balances him. This is no easy task. He is studious, interested in knowledge above anything else - he has studied a variety of subjects and is interested in everything. He believes strongly in education and it's importance in helping to build a better future. If given the choice, he would prefer to achieve change peacefully but acknowledges that there comes a time when action needs to be taken. He doesn't hesitate once that has become apparent.
Despite his quiet and studious ways, Combeferre is as vibrant and passionate as any of the other Amis. He has moments of brilliant wit, and can more than hold his own in any debate.
