It is almost 7 years after he and Maya began to figure out where they stood at the end of the Girl Meets World series. By the time Maya turned 17, he and she have been hanging out more and more, going on dates.
Presently Twenty-eight-year old Josh has finally realized that Maya is not too young for him anymore, and has finally decided that he wants this nonsense of being on and off to stop. He wants what his older brother Cory has, and has brought a ring.
He never gives it to her, or asks her, though, because he finds himself on another planet.
