Bio:
Part 1: Born in London to wealthy inventor Sir William Price and renowned doctor Selena, Victor was the only child and lived very comfortably through his early childhood. His parents were killed by a drunk driver when he was eight and greedy local noble Count Bertram seized his family's fortune leaving Victor penniless and homeless through the false claim that Victor had also died in the crash. Living on the streets after escaping from a cruel orphanage and it's abusive matron Victor adapted to the life that he'd been thrown into he became a thief to survive forming a small group of brothers who stayed together in order to stay alive. His best friend Mick O'Shea was like a big brother to him and by the time they'd reached adulthood they were the only surviving members of their group and at the age of 18 both men enlisted in the British military as a way out of their bleak lives, serving together through many battles until Mick was shot in the leg returning home with honor. He went on to take over his grandfather's tavern The Green Dragon which he still runs to this day.
Victor went on to join the SAS who recognized both his impressive skills in invention and his lineage as the Price heir. It was shortly before he was due to retire that he was seriously injured during a rescue mission breaking both legs. Unwilling to go out this way he was permitted by his commander to build prosthesis so long as they were not deemed hindrances to the unit. Ultimately this gave birth to Saber, a formidable suit of armor that proved to be so effective it was classified top secret by order of the Prime Minister. Developed years before the first Iron Man armor it is prized by the British as the world's first powered armor though Tony Stark's Mk. I Iron Man made the original Saber obsolete. Nevertheless at the age of 24 Victor saved the Crown Jewels from thieves and for his heroism was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, joining the modern day Knights of the Round Table. Thanks to the truth finally coming out Count Bertram was arrested and the stolen Price family fortune went to it's rightful heir though it was far less than it had been due to the Count's spiteful spending. Victor was deeded Lexington Estate, his childhood home which Count Bertram had also stolen firing the staff the greedy noble had hired and lived there alone for the next two years developing better Sabers in his father's secret foundry until the day Gibson, the man who would become his butler and friend came. He brought with him a young man named Issac Makaveli who ultimately became Victor's assistant.
Part 2: After several advancements researching clean, renewable energy Victor made the breakthrough his father couldn't resulting in the development of the Zeta Drive using previously undiscovered particles in a minaturized collision accelerator that yielded enormous power without the unit being enormous itself. This was crucial in both his power tech and the second generation of Sabers which made him who he is today. The 2nd-Gen suits proved very effective in the defense of England resulting in him becoming the Knight of One though once he embarked to the United States to expand his business the metahuman and extraterrestrial threats that assailed the planet became too much for the Knight of Tomorrow to handle. Following a brutal defeat by the symbiote Venom the last of the 2nd Generation Sabers, Epsilon, fell to the monster leaving Victor powerless and seriously injured. Help came from the last place he'd expected - Tony Stark.
Between the two of them they salvaged what was left of the Epsilon and utilizing their combined knowledge they created Saber Zeta - a hybrid of Stark repulsor and Sterling zeta technologies using an Iron Man shell as the base framework and giving Victor the ability to continue the good fight. Victor has been working with Tony ever since as the British designer was one of the few who had always designed his own tech and aside from a Quinjet he had bought before he had never possessed any of Stark's technology. This unwillingness to take the obvious shortcut of tech theft was a prime characteristic of the knight that helped Tony work with him. Victor was an active member of Heroes for Hire but has currently opted into a secondary member and continues to be the group's primary financial backer providing them funding and cutting edge Sterling International tech.
Victor has invested billions into the renovation of the London slums so that the poor have safety and the homeless are properly cared for. To date this is the single biggest undertaking he has ever done and the single most expensive aside from the Saber Program.
Saber has been known to team up with other heroes from time to time including several members of the Avengers. His favorite teams ups to date were with Heroes for Hire, Black Cat and Spiderman and Vic prefers working with street level groups as opposed to big name ones.
Combat: There are two different ways Price tends to do this, with Saber or without it. He doesn't need the suit to present a clear and present threat. From inside the armor he can deliver attacks similar to other power armor users though his designs are more melee oriented that most and have a unique overclocking ability that directly increases the suits ranged and melee power for a time. Most Saber models have an increased communications and relay range making him a capable scout and coordinator.
When outside the suit Price uses a dragonskin reinforced nanotech suit under dark blue and black kevlar tactical gear similar to those worn by British special forces as well as an Mp5 SMG along with a standard pistol with each gun having a silencer as an option. For close quarters he uses a knife, sword and a SPAS-12 shotgun along with hand to hand training. In this gear Victor can lift up to a ton and has augmented reflexes with the ability to walk or run straight up vertical surfaces and across ceilings without falling. His additional gear includes a repair kit, small crowbar, collapsible trench shovel, a small first aid kit, radio, wrist mounted grappling gun and flares along with smoke grenades.
