PERSONALITY
N - Nice
Despite not having known her mother, Nieve has inherited a lot of her traits, the main one being her sheer niceness. Nieve is very nice, kind and gentle girl. Her smile rarely leaves her face, and when it does, she always find a reason to smile again. Nieve is always willing to help others and put their needs before hers.

I - Incorruptible
Nieve has a pure heart and soul. There's not a bit of evilness inside her and there will never be. While she can dislike or hate someone, like her step mother, she would never do anything to hurt her. She does wish she'd leave her father, but she would never cause any harm on her -- even if she did, causing her that allergic reaction with that slice of cake that almost killed her. But even after that, Nieve feels more sad and pity than anger towards her.

E - Educated
Nieve is a very intelligent girl, curious and well-read girl. Ever since she was a little girl she had a book in her hands; and she was constantly asking her father questions about the world. At school, she got the best grades, but not because she was crazy about getting the best grades in the whole school but because she wanted the knowledge. Niev can hold a conversation about pretty much everything, and if she doesn't know she'll find books and learn about it. She's also a big fan of novels: mystery, thrillers, fantasy, horror… Although fairy tales have a special place in her heart, as they were what his father used to read to her at night.

V - Vulnerable
Because she's so pure and nice, things get to her a little deeper than normal. She tries to stay strong and not show how hurt she is to anyone, but she crumbles down when she's alone or with Hunter. She just wants her happy ending, but it seems like every time she seems to get it, it ends up falling apart. Little by little she hopes to build a shell that will keep her from getting hurt so easily, but it's hard when her heart is open to everyone.

E - Enthusiastic
When Nieve is happy, the whole world knows it. And it's not that hard to make her happy, so she's constantly smiling and being happy and giddy. She's the kind of girl who claps her hands and jumps up and down and dances when she's happy, and she's not ashamed of it. Being happy is a good thing, so why keep it to yourself?

APPEARANCE
While people have told Nieve she's incredibly beautiful, Nieve doesn't think so. She's not a vain girl at all -- that's not to say she doesn't take care of her appearance, though. Being presentable isn't the same as taking 2 hours to put layers and layers of makeup, which she doesn't do because that's just crazy. She's happy with some mascara and some lipstick. Her hair is naturally straight and very dark, almost black, and she rarely does anything other than blow dry it. She has hazel eyes; a small pointy nose; and rosy lips that need very little to stand out. Her complexion is very fair, which she hates because she sunburns easily; she always carries some sunscreen lotion on her bag and never leaves without putting it on -- skin cancer isn't fun. She stands 5'4" tall, with a small but graceful frame. She likes to keep in with the latest trends, always giving them her own little twist.

HISTORY
FABLETON

"Oh, how I wish that I had a daughter as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as that wood of the window frame!" Those were the words a queen in a far away land said to herself after pricking her finger while she was sewing, and admiring the beauty of the color of blood mixed with the white snow and the window frame. Not long after that, that same queen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with skin white as snow, lips red as blood, and hair as black as ebony. Her name? Snow White. And she was a loved a cherished child not just by the King and Queen, but by the whole kingdom. But that happiness didn't last long. The Queen fell ill and soon died, leaving a baby Snow White and the King alone.

However, the King soon found a new Queen. A Queen who was as beautiful as she was vain and evil. Snow White never trusted the new Queen. She was only nice to her when they were in the presence of the King, but as soon as he was gone Snow White was ignored by her step-mother. Snow White never minded that, as she tried to avoid the Queen as much as possible anyway. She would have loved to have a mother in her, but she contented herself with imagining how her real mother had been. Every night before bed, the King told her a story about her mother and Snow White visited her in her dreams.

Sadness took over the kingdom again when the King died not long after Snow White turned sixteen. Snow White thought her world crumbled into a million pieces she could never pull back together. Not only had she lost her father, but the kingdom was now in hands of the Evil Queen. Snow White feared for her life now more than ever.

But one day a boy appeared in the kingdom. He had joined the court as a musician and Snow White immediately took a liking to the boy. She found a good friend in Blue Boy, and he was the reason she smiled more and more each day.

The smiles in her face didn't last long, however, as the Evil Queen seemed to finally come up with a plan to get rid of Snow White. One night, Snow White was taken from her bed by a guard from the caslte and taken into the deepest of the woods to be killed. Snow White fought against his grasp and begged him to look into his heart and find some kindness, as she was just a harmless young girl. She promised him she would run and never go back to the castle again. The man let go of her and Snow White ran deeper into the woods, never looking back.

After days of walking aimlessly and eating little to nothing, she found a tiny cottage. She knocked on the door but no one answered. Usually she would had never gone in not knowing who the house belonged to, but she was dehydrated, starving and tired and she knew there would be food and a nice bed inside for her to rest.

To her surprise, she found not one but seven small means, seven cups of wine and seven tiny beds. After eating and drinking and testing all seven beds, she found a comfortable one and fell asleep. She wasn't sure how long she was asleep, but when she woke up she found herself surrounded by seven dwarfs looking for an explanation as to why she was in their house. Snow White explained how the Evil Queen had sent her to the forrest to be killed and how she had no where else to go. The dwarfs took pity on her and let her stay with them. They couldn't leave her to be eaten by some wild animal, or worse! Be found by the Evil Queen. So, Snow White and the dwarfs made a deal: she cleaned and cook, and took care of everything in the house, and in return the dwarfs would make sure no harm would come to her.

Snow White found in the seven dwarfs the family she longed to have in the kingdom. Each of them had something that made Snow White smile everyday, even Grumpy. That made her miss Blue Boy quite a lot when the dwarfs went to work in the mountains. But going back to the kingdom was a death sentence now.

The dwarfs warned Snow White not to let anyone in while they were away, but when she saw a harmless old farmer's wife at the doorstep, Snow White couldn't ignore her. What harm could an old lady do to her? Snow White accepted half of the apple she was given, as the old lady ate her part -- if she had eaten it, it couldn't be poisoned, could it? But Snow White was mistaken. The moment she bit into the apple, she was doomed. The Evil Queen had disguised herself as the farmer's wife and had poisoned part of the apple. After learning by her Magic Mirror that Snow White was still alive and that the guard had lied to her, she made sure this time she ended Snow White herself.

The Dwarfs came home to find Snow White seemingly unconscious on the floor, but no matter how many times they try to revive her, they thought she was dead. They placed her in a glass coffin and waited for a miracle to happen.

That miracle came in the form of Prince Charming. A sweet young man named Blue Boy tried to wake up Snow White with a True Love's Kiss, but nothing happened. Prince Charming was with him and one of the Dwarfs told him to try.

Snow White had no idea how long she had been asleep, or even falling asleep; but when she felt the warmth of a kiss on her lips, she felt alive again. The True Love's Kiss had saved her from an endless sleep, and now she had Prince Charming by her side.

It wasn't long till her and Prince Charming marry, taking over the evil reign of the Evil Queen in the kingdom. Snow White was happy again, the kingdom was happy again; but the happiness didn't last long. The Evil Queen called for the Darkness and it attacked the castle, killing everyone including Snow White, her beloved Prince Charming and her dear Blue Boy.

Newport, OR

The birth of Nieve Linwood was both the happiest and the saddest moment of Robert Linwood's life. Rebecca Linwood lived only long enough to name their baby girl Nieve, as she was as white as snow. There were some complication in the delivery and Rebecca died a few days after Nieve was born. Robert was devastated by the lost of his beloved wife, but when the nurses placed little baby Nieve in his arms and saw her looking at him with her big eyes, he knew he wasn't all darkness.

Robert raised Nieve the best he could. He cherished his baby girl more than anything in the world, and Nieve always felt very loved by her father. It hadn't had to be easy raising a baby girl as a single father, but neither Robert or Nieve would change it for anything in the world. She loved when her father dressed up as Prince Charming for one of her birthdays, because she had asked for a Prince Charming as her only birthday present; or when he read to her her favorite fairy tales every night before bedtime; or when he let her sit with him in his study while he worked, and she grabbed one of his many books and read it (or pretended to when the book had too many difficult words for her to understand yet). Nieve could never complain about her father.

She could, however, complain about her step-mother. She had to admit her father spent many years without even thinking of dating and she kind of pushed him into it when she was fourteen. But her father couldn't have fallen for a more vain and stupid woman. Of course she was all smiles and compliments when Nieve was with them; but Nieve knew deep down that woman didn't like her and the feeling was mutual. Nevertheless, Nieve had never seen her father happier so she swallowed what her gut was telling her and tried to be a family. For her father.

Thankfully though, Nieve could always escape and be with her best friend in the whole wide world: Hunter Calhoon. They met one day at a park when they were six and they were inseparable ever since. Nieve saw something in the boy, a kindness and sweetness that immediately made her smile. She knew from that moment on that he would be someone very in her life (and of course in that time she was just thinking friends. Best friends in the whole wide world and universe and beyond).

Nieve never considered herself a beautiful or a popular girl. She never cared about being on top of the social ladder or anything like that. She was a normal girl, happy to be with her friends, happy to help others doing charity work, and happy to work every summer so she could save up some money to get a place for herself and be away from her step-mother. But the truth was Nieve had something, and that something made her quiet popular with the boys. However, that didn't mean Nieve had good luck choosing the right boys. No. Nieve had a tendency to go for the jerk/asshole type that maybe had a good heart deep inside. Maybe. Of course most of the times that wasn't true and Nieve ended up crying in the arms of Hunter, wondering why guys couldn't be more like him.

But when she met Luca Koenig, she thought maybe he was the one; specially when he saved her life in the pool.

Nieve was in the pool with some of her friends and her parents. She had just eaten a slice of cake her step-mother had made earlier that day when her friend Stephanie pushed her into the pool. Now, this wouldn't have been a huge deal if it weren't because the cake had apple in it. Nieve was allergic to it and when she felt in the water, she started to drown because of the allergic reaction. Luckily for her, Luca was there to pull her out of the pool and gave her CPR, saving her life. Her step-mother of course, had no idea how the apple had gotten into the cake, and while Nieve didn't believe her, her father did.

After the rescue, Nieve started to spend more and more time with Luca and, not too long after that, they started to date officially. Nieve could see Hunter and Luca didn't exactly get along, but he begged both of them to behave and be nice to each other. She thought Luca was THE one, and Hunter was the most important person in her life; they HAD to get along.

However, that fairytale didn't last forever. During her freshmen year of college (Luca's sophomore year), it was clear that they were going in different directions and Luca wasn't in fact THE ONE for Nieve. She wasn't going to lie and say she didn't cry and feel sad, but it was the best for both of them. It was a mutual breakup. And she was happy to say she and Luca remained friends.

Life went on for Nieve, though the first few months after the breakup were a little rough as her best friend wasn't there to help pick up the pieces of her broken heart. Hunter went to Astoria and while they spoke on the phone, it just wasn't the same as talking to him face to face and have his arms around her as she cried.

But like we said before, life went on. And Nieve soon found new ways to entertain herself and keep herself busy at college. She joined a sorority, did charity work and studied a lot to graduate with honors at Oregon State University. She did a major in English and a minor in Theatre and History.

After graduating, she found a job as PLACE and finally moved out her father's house and has her own apartment. It's not the house of her dreams, but it has everything she needs to be happy.

I was making an events calendar, and I noticed math was off on Niev's birthday. She'd either be 25 as of now, or if you want her to only be 24, she would have been born in '89!

:) *can do maths sometimes*
