PERSONALITY! PRIMARY MOTIVATION: Normalcy (but she doesn't know how to express that) DEEPEST FEAR / INSECURITY: Confinement, being manipulated, friends who lie MBTI: ADVENTURER (ISFP-T) LIKES: Her friends, Eggo waffles, eating in general, music, good people DISLIKES: Papa, her cell, the Upsidedown, Hurting things FAVORITE TOPICS OF CONVERSATION: El isn't great at conversation, but anything that doesn't involve hurting people. El would be a typical twelve year old girl if she hadn't been raised from birth as a nameless science experiment (also, the whole powers thing). She's uneducated, extremely under-socialized, has severe issues with attachment and affection, and though she can speak and has normal intelligence, her language is severely under-developed- speaking in one or two word sentences (if at all) when she communicates. Because of the experiments that replaced any social or emotional development over her life, El is a good problem solver, and understands the give and take of reward vs punishment with extreme clarity- however, she responds much more favorably to the things she lacked over the years- human companionship, compassion, and parental love. She has a very rudimentary way of viewing the world; everything is literal, sarcasm, slang, jokes, and wit are usually over her head- though she is a fast learner and will often emulate people she likes or admires. El is skittish and shy around new people, often to the point of being fearful, though she understands on a certain level that she is as much a threat to them as they are to her. She identifies much easier to kids her age, especially those who are kind to her, but because human relationships are still extremely new to her, the intricacies of friendship are sometimes difficult for her to navigate. She also has trouble controlling her temper, especially when frustrated. On the other side of the coin, she is protective of those she becomes attached to, and has a tendency to want to help or please people she looks up to. | |||

Biokinesis: El has been shown to be able to manipulate, injure, and even kill organic organisms (animals and humans) with her powers, theoretically by psychically rewiring or short-circuiting their brains. Teleprojection: El can psychically project her consciousness over short and long distances in order to observe target individuals or events. Weaknesses: Using her powers too much for too long takes a physical toll on El's body and mind, leaving her weak, disoriented, and vulnerable- sometimes to the point of fainting. Using her teleprojection powers also makes her vulnerable to the 'Upsidedown', the alternate dimension through which her consciousness is projected. | |||
