Re: “You should have made sure I was dead.”
He had been tracking this pack for the last few months and had very nearly wiped out the whole lot of them after leading them into a very deadly series of trapped. The alpha seemed to prove smarter than the typical alpha and while greatly wounded. This one had lingered behind, watching the back of the others as escaped to safety. Haksoo had moved positioned to try to finished them off, but had ended up facing off with the she-wolf. It had been a vicious fight right until the end and he had been so close to his goal. Haksoo had gotten a few good shots in, but the soldier wasn't any match for the wolf on his own after she had shifted, especially head to head like this. There was a large pool of blood spread out across the floor under haksoo now, much more than any human should have been able to lose and still survive. quite likely that was exactly what the wolf had thought. Haksoo wasn't an ordinary human however, and though his body was cold and stiff as death he was still very much alive. He waited until the wolf had finally turned her attention away before standing and firing the last few rounds from his gun into her hide. At the very least he could bring down this one. Haksoo didn't want to head home empty handed.
"you should have made sure that I was dead puppy."
