We must have been something on that dance floor after all, I think, but that doesn't matter right now.

Not right now, tight in Brian's arms as we sway together in the loft and the music plays on.


This was beautiful. I like the idea of them building a new, less public memory based on that song, and that’s really what you’ve accomplished for them here. The darkness, the muted lighting, and the image of them dancing close and listening to music that only they can hear paints such an intimate picture.

I’ve often thought that dancing for Brian is much more about foreplay rather than the music, rhythm and freedom that most people get out of it. But with Justin, especially in this story, it becomes a way for him to be more emotional without having to verbally express what he’s feeling.

This was a real treat. I’m glad you felt inspired!
