Author's Notes: A gapfiller drabble for the July 26 episode.. Yes really, GAPFILLER DRABBLE. Most pointless thing ever. Y'know how Luke had the stethoscope around his neck at the start of the roleplaying scene? This takes place right before that. Cheesy title taken from a Roxette song.



Luke takes the stethoscope and places the end against Reid’s chest, listening intently and frowning after a moment.

“What’s wrong?” Reid asks.

“Hmm,” Luke’s forehead wrinkles. “I seem to be having trouble locating a heartbeat.”

Reid moves the stethoscope half an inch. “That’s the spot right there.”

“Nope. I’m afraid I was right,” Luke shakes his head sadly. “You don’t have a heart.”

Reid freezes, shocked, and Luke bursts out laughing.

“Freakin’ hilarious,” Reid glares.

Luke winks. “It’s okay, your secret’s safe with me.”

Reid feigns ignorance, and Luke lets him pretend his heart doesn’t speed up when they’re together.
