I haven't been in one since the war but if you find the right person, it shouldn't be scary. Not down to your bones terrifying. You've known me for years Kells and I think you're a lovely bloke. Some witch or wizard is going to hit the jackpot with you and really, if you can put up with me foisting myself onto you when we were younger, you can handle anything.
Why not start with people you feel comfortable with? Make a list of all the people you are comfortable with, remove those in relationships and then factor in your biological reaction to their aesthetics untl you've a short list. Ask V to invite them to the singles night and see how it goes?
