I don't think he was ever anything other than a selfish dick and even saying that takes some getting used to. Its strange. I spent so long trying to live up to his expectations..

Its hard. He enjoys riling me but I know the alternatives.

Don't let it get to you too much. I spent years 14 through 18 being angry at my dad for leaving and it really didn't do anyone any good. I mean this is different and all just don't let him win by hurting you anymore.
